I hate this plexiglass "protection" with a passion because I rely heavily on reading lips when talking to people at the stores. When they have that shield up, there are a lot of reflections on the shield, especially light from the ceiling so I had to move around until I can see the person's lips.
Sometimes I had to move around a lot, making myself look like an idiot in the process and telling them I can't read their lips, has failed because they'd be busy staring at me (or saying something that I can't see due to the reflection) and doing nothing about it.
This was at the beginning so whenever I come across a shield, I immediately tell them I'm deaf and then I ask for a piece of paper so we both can communicate on that to avoid the struggle.
Now most places don't have the shield anymore so now I don't have to act like a retard.
Yep, when I had a job interview with Microsoft at the Redmond campus, this is almost exactly what it looks like in that video -- cafes everywhere, foosball, ping pong tables and air hockey tables in every building across campus (at least the ones I visited, had them all) and many more.
I thought to myself, "Wow so that's why Windows is a shitty bloatware OS! Way too many people slacking off and not fixing shit!"
Suffice to say, I didn't get the job (wasn't even a job position that related to what I majored in college). Prior to visiting Microsoft, I thought it would be a dream job even though I didn't like Microsoft at all but after visiting the campus, I'm glad I didn't get the job. I felt way out of place at Microsoft so I didn't think I could stomach a day or two working there.
I can't hear but I find British dialect amusing because of how they move their lips like, "Oi, you wanker!" and "Fuck off" (It looks like "Fock oof" to me) and many other things, like how Jason Statham talks in "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" and "Snatch" and same goes for Simon Pegg and Nick Frost in "Hot Fuzz".
It's just how they move their lips crack me up, is all.
My wife and some of our deaf friends love watching Asian cinema for the facial expressions alone (my wife, more of both the facial expressions and the plot) but they like to find movies and T.V. shows that has a lot of emphasis on facial expressions while talking or reacting.
Yeah that's the Normie life for them but I hope Normie #2's son will be fine because my mom died when I was young and she had brain surgery to remove a tumor. Had to stay at the hospital/hospice for a while but then somehow the shunt came out and she had internal bleeding but the doctor and surgeon didn't know that happened. They assumed everything was fine. After a while, my mom died from internal bleeding in the cranium. That was when they found out what caused her death -- internal bleeding due to the shunt coming out of its place.
It's really astounding that the hospital did a major surgery on a very important organ like the brain and let him go hours later like an outpatient! I think he needs to go back to the hospital and demand they keep him under close observation... If not, I fear he will be dead before his "1 month follow-up"...

I worked at a retail store about 10 years ago, and had to leave my work area to get signature from one of the managers. Right before I left, I noticed my manager was acting a bit bizarre and I didn't think much of it because he told me he have a bit of a mental issue so I thought it was him just acting out (he kept looking to his left but fought to stay focused with what's in front of him).
When I came back from getting the signature, I saw some employees from other sections of the store gathered around my manager, who was lying on the floor, and I immediately knew something happened to him like a seizure. He went to the hospital and then came back a few days later to work. He told me he had a seizure that night and I wished I knew what was happening so I could help him.
Turned out he convulsed and hit the shelf behind him. I worked with computers and we had to put the computers that's "work in progress" on the shelves in the back of our section and the "manager's area" is right in front of the shelves so he went backwards, head first, into the shelf.
Scary sight to see but thankfully he came out of it OK but as of right now, I dunno what his situation is with the shot as I no longer talk to him nowadays.
Just realized something. I don't know if this has been mentioned already as I have not been on here often due to a busy schedule but I've been wondering about Ye's (Kanye West for those not in the know) situation that's going on right now.

I looked at the whole thread and it mentioned nothing about Fuentes being "poisoned" but just had a medical emergency. I guess I somehow perceived it as him being poisoned because I was also looking at other threads so I may have my info mixed up. I'll correct my original post to avoid confusion.
A few days ago. Nick Fuentes didn't show up for his daily show, I believe? I don't watch Fuentes but I saw some people posting saying that Fuentes hasn't showed up and he himself said that he's sick, said something like "I was poisoned but I think I will be OK". I believe he missed two days worth of content on his platform.
I still can't find where I saw that because I don't really pay attention to him that much.
Not sure if Gregg is talking about Nick Fuentes but I read somewhere that he got poisoned had a medical emergency recently and will try to come back online for another talk show. I don't know if he recovered already but I think he uses Telegram as well.
I don't have the info right away because I didn't think much of it. I thought it was food poisoning that he had so didn't think much of it. Now that this has been brought up to attention, I'll try to find the info on Nick Fuentes' poisoning. -> Turns out it was just a medical emergency but I don't know the nature of the medical emergency.
