Typically no, but I hate it when people talks to me but I didn't see them talking until I felt their stare poring at me (they'd be standing next to me while I'm looking away from them but I can see out on the corner of my eye that their body is turned toward me) and I'd turn to them and say, "I'm deaf" and then they'd go, "Oh! I'm so sorry!", "I'm so sorry to hear that!" or "Oh I didn't know that! I'm so sorry" (For that last comment, well no shit Sherlock, I don't have a sign flashing above me saying, "This person is deaf!" so it's not their fault for not knowing that!)

I don't need their pity, just treat me like you would toward anyone else in general (i.e. The Golden Rule) and keep talking to me normally and I'll let you know if I understand you or I need you to write it down. They could have said, "Oh ok no problem, I was saying blah blah". I do get that kind of comment once in a while, but it's almost always the "sorry" response.

Sometimes I'd be told that I write/speak well for a deaf person and I do find it a bit offensive because it shows how ignorant they are as they probably thought not only are we deaf, but we also are retarded. Same for when they got surprised when I told them I have a driver's license and they'd be like, "Deaf people can drive?! WOW!"

I get it that people are curious about how a deaf person live their life and I'm completely fine with answering questions. If people go like "Deaf people can do that?!" Or "Wow you can do that?! I find it hard to believe but wow!" would rub me the wrong way, if you know what I mean? I understand that all people are different but the ones who are oblivious to everything, would act like an asshole without realizing what they're doing.

I've met some strange people who would act odd or erratically around me like sometimes they'd pretend they know sign language and they'd be throwing their hands around, mimicking sign language and I cringed but had to maintain my composure in order to get out of the situation ASAP.

Also, I hate it when I have an appointment with someone like a doctor and we would have the interpreter present to relay our conversation. The doctor would go, "Tell him that he needs to do this and that." as if I'm not there in the room with them. Sometimes I'd get an interpreter who will tell the doctor that they need to address me normally like, "You/Your" instead of "he/his". Don't get me wrong, it's not that stupid "SJW pronoun" thing but it's common sense when they are speaking to me through a medium, they need to address me the correct way and they need to "pretend" the interpreter is not there.

I've noticed that all of the ignorant comments/remarks usually come from Democrats, which is why I knew that I shouldn't be a Democrat or vote Democrat.

Ah there's many more but then I'd be writing a book! But yeah, the bottom line is all people are different and their comment/response would either be a positive one or a negative one but that's human behavior and I don't argue with them. I just nod and move on when I get uncomfortable. The majority of the deaf community, on the other hand, will pick a fight with you. They'd go as far as try to correct you in an aggressive way or yell at you if they get offended and that's why I try to keep my distance from the majority of the deaf community.

Yeah, I used to go to the movies before they had closed captioning devices and I'd just sit and watch the action, analyze the people's face expressions and try to understand what's going on. I don't mind at all as it was very relaxing for me plus I love the theater experience. Nowadays? Ugh. Too many SJW movies so I can't stomach them all.

As for the people who think they are white knights are very annoying because they think they know what we need. They're usually wrong 99% of the time. Again, that's why I don't like Democrats because they act like white knights around me and go far and beyond to help me in the most unnecessary way. That's usually when I'd get very, very uncomfortable but I had to grin and bear it until they go away.

I know I should just tell them to fuck off, but you know, with how crazy they can be, you'd never know what they'd do when they get offended. Pre-2016 or so, it would probably have been possible for me to simply say, "Thanks Karen, but you can kindly fuck off, I don't need your help" but post 2016 or so, I probably would get shanked, strangled or get shot at. I'd rather keep on living as opposed to be 6 feet deep because a Karen got told to fuck off.

If you got any more questions, let me know! I'd be more than happy to answer them all!

Lol yeah I would just say fuck them if they're offended, but I was just simply setting that warning out there in case anyone trying to do it differently, would get an earful (no pun intended) from the deaf community for doing it differently. Even I, as a deaf person, get corrected on some of my signs and I'd go, "Who fucking cares? You understand what I said? Good!" but then they'd be yelling at me and nagging me til I correct it but I just walk away.

You're right on the indoctrination part, the deaf community has been conditioned to the point where they actually believes the Democrats are helping them and I'd say 95% of the community is pro-Dem. I said this in another comment to someone, but it's just that they were led to always listen and believe people of higher authority (i.e. their parents, teachers and mentors and yes that also includes the government) so if you tried to tell them something different from their conditioning, they'd argue or ignore you.

Not only are they deaf, but they're also blind.

As far as politeness goes, just keep on doing what you've been doing but yeah that's a very, very tricky area to understand what you need and need not to do. But fuck that, just do what you think is best and if you get yelled at, they're just jealous that you're politer than they are.

You can do it that way as well, but remember it's more of a gesture than an actual sign in sign language.

For me personally, I have no issues with you as well as anyone else doing this but I don't represent the deaf community and the deaf community may have an issue as they always have an issue with "made-up" signs. They're a finicky bunch lol.

Yep they all are dumb and blind to realize what the risks are and it's extremely high!

Found this while looking for a different clip of similar nature. I was looking for the one where someone supposedly died at the clotshot clinic and they were being carried out in front of people in a queue to get the death jab, looking at the supposedly corpse and they are still standing in line!

If that doesn't wake the mass up, I don't know what will!

"Sorry, that tweet has been deleted" is what I get when I clicked on the link.

Anyone got an archive of it?

This is why there's the mute/block button on these social platforms, for the people to decide whether they should block/mute "annoying" people they don't like.

Twitter et al, do not need to intervene on their behalf when someone cries when their feelings get hurt/offended. Twitter et al need to educate the crybabies to use the block/mute button more often then tell them Twitter et al are not their mother/father/Big Brother.

Something to do with Gregg Phillips and True the Vote? In another post, Gregg Phillips/True the Vote said they're in DC for a meeting on the 12th and they were asking for prayers. Phillips said DC is not prepared for them.

I don't know what kind of business you operate but I really hope you don't put up the menu on Fakebook.

I've had nothing but bad experience with restaurants using Fakebook to "host" their business. They almost always don't have a decent menu posted on there and when they do, it's either blurry or small in size and I had to contact the restaurant via PM to confirm.

Then after a lot of bad experience with restaurants, I made it a rule that if the restaurant only shows the menu via Fakebook, it's an automatic pass for me.

Saw the kid's shirt and it said "Wauseon" and I immediately thought of my friend who's from Wauseon, a very small town in Ohio, close to Toledo.

Looked it up and yep, it's in Wauseon, OH and here's the WTOL (Toledo news) article on him:

And I will be expecting an email with an apology from my "friend" in the Netherlands. They told me ivermectin is for horses and I provided them a lot of information on ivermectin and they accused me of using "right wing talking points" then ended our conversation right there with no words from them after 1 year and a half.

Yeah I'll be waiting... Anytime soon...

Direct link to post

QRD: Chicago Bears are looking to move to a different town and it looks to be Arlington Heights (Northwest of Chicago, in the suburbs) and Auntie Beetlejuice is trying to keep the Bears in Chicago by offering alternatives as well as add-ons to Soldier Field. The Bears can't modify or demolish anything pertaining to Soldier Field, due to it now being a part of the Chicago Historical Society (like the Chicago Cubs' Wrigley Field) and renovations or the like, can't be done on Soldier Field.

Not only that but Soldier Field is the smallest stadium in the U.S. because it was built in 1924.

When I first saw the post, I thought I'd be walking through comments praising Lori for her "hard working as the mayor of one of the best cities in America, Chicago" but nope, they want her out. Not just due to her possibly losing the Bears as a mayor, but due to her not being a great mayor and they rank her lower than Emanuel Rahm and the Daleys.

I believe it is a "glorified" web page where it is just the web page itself without any Chrome/Brave settings/options, while using Chrome/Brave's services to load content.

I hope it will evolve into a better app that is independent from Chrome/Brave soon because fuck Google, that's why!

This is why I love Android/Linux (course, before Google cucked Android) because of things like this unlike Apple MacOS/iOS, too damn limited and restrictive.

Additionally, you can just archive an article and it will bypass the paywall about 90% of the time.

With Epoch, it has bypassed the paywall 100% times for me so far.

Someone archived the article already (4 hours ago at the time of my comment) and the paywall has been bypassed:

Oh wow. Yeah I checked New to make sure I'm not posting something that has already been posted. First and second page showed nothing so I went ahead.

After reading your comment, I went back and checked again. Yep like 4th or 5th page later in "New", I see a couple of posts. That's odd cuz when I first found out about his death, it was reported about an hour before my posting.
