You don't think that's ridiculous?

Yes, but that doesn't prevent me from taking it because it is the best product. Its not the medicine's fault there are horseshit rules.

ridiculous hoops I have to jump through to get pseudophedrine

In the US, they just keep it behind the counter and you can only buy so much, but its 15 doses per day.

Here is the crazy part:

I'm a father of young girls. I'd be perfectly capable and safe to assist girls in getting dressed, etc. So would 99% of fathers. Of course, we wouldn't do it, because it would be strange/awkward. Everyone knows it would be weird, even though they'd know it is safe.

Now, make it a non-father, just a random fucking guy, and the objection would get MUCH stronger. Everyone would openly say: "It isn't appropriate for a man to be in the girls changing room helping them change/pee/etc." People would object loudly.

NOW: Take that same guy, have him declare he is now a lesbian, take hormones, dress up like a woman, and suddenly "Oh gosh, now we are all perfectly fine with HER helping take care of naked little girls.'

Fucking. Clown. World.

Haha. Did you think they’d let you see that?

so they should show up, ask for the person who called the cops and ticket them for a false police report.

It prob wasn't a false report. You tell the police, "I'm about to ask someone to get off my property, and I'm worried they're going to fight back." and the police will show up. They don't come in guns drawn, they just hang out, and if the person refuses to leave they'll say "You have to leave now or we'll have to arrest you." Their job is to keep things calm.

You can fire someone for any reason in an at-will employment state - what are the police supposed to do! "Hey, as a police officer I Judge the firing reason faulty, and therefore this person can stay and keep getting paid!"

Don't get me wrong - I want this company sued to the ground.

Meh, cops get told “We are firing someone today, and we are worried they have a gun.” Cops are going to show up and escort them out.

A "spam/bot" account, by definition, isn't lurking and just reading tweets.

The "top 10%" of twitter users are responsible for 80%+ of posts and are mostly politics.

So, if you say "Only 5% of users are bots" that could be a huge, huge percentage of actual-users-who-post-shit.

Twitter might be telling a misleading truth by saying only 5% of users are bots. 5% of the users being bots could result in 30-40-50% of tweets originating from bots. The more telling stat would be which percentage of tweets/likes/etc are by bots.

I never trust any tweet with an alarm light emoji and the word "breaking".

Also, how can a scheduled public vote be "breaking" news.

Or you can continue to buy into the "homeschooled children are not social-ized" myth. Of course they are

What I’m skeptical about are the more advanced high school classes. No discussions about novels, etc.

Or even more, science. No dissection, lab work, etc. A science teacher walking you through the details of an experiment to demonstrate entropy and enthalpy can’t be reproduced with self taught YouTube videos.

With respect to everyone’s religion:

It enrages me that if I say “I don’t think I should take the vax.” It is fine to fire me, punish me, limit my freedoms, call me a racist, etc.

But if I say “A magic man that maybe only I believe in doesn’t think I should take the vax.” Then that is a valid exemption to be respected.

And I know people who are claiming religious exemptions who really don’t have a religious objection.

There won’t be any mass phase III style double blind studies of ivermectin because that would be throwing away money.

You use observational studies, which are just as valid if there enough data.

For fucking example - the entire FDAs case that vaccines are safe.

Honestly, I’m less concerned with the friends upset about the 3rd shot vs the ones overjoyed to get a third shot.
