Nurse here… manager of med surg floor… surrounded by politically made policies and decisions… but not all of us have been complicit! Some of us on the healthcare front lines are still un-altered by vaccines and sharing as much knowledge as possible , I promise!
I’ve been enjoying “victory channel news”. They openly retract statements if it turns out to be fake news. They require all stories to be verified by two separate sources prior to running. I like how transparent they are with that process and that is it on a Christian network. I would rate them a 7. Them and x 22 report are my go to sources.
Geared transport bodies to and from the hospital as well. If the funeral home can be arranged to pick up a body from a house if it is not a coroners case.
I hope this wakes nurses up. Let me tell the people at the bedside are pissed about this. This blows their whole narrative… why routinely test unvaccinated individuals if a positive test result does not mean anything unless you also have symptoms. Would it not make more sense to test people based on symptoms rather than vaccination status? But nothing is about making sensible decisions.

I’m a hospital nurse educator and we just implemented a new violence flag in our electronic medical records. We are instructed to educate our nurses to flag any and every patient that has a single outburst of violence, even if they are experiencing hospital induced delirium. We are told this is just to bring awareness of the potential for violence for all members of the treatment team. It makes so much more sense now seeing this post.. this was implemented quickly, we didn’t have to make tipsheet a or computer based learning modules like we normally do with a new role out. We got supplied information from our corporate office and really got no say in the matter (which is not normal for our magnet facility).

I feel bad I took a religious exemption when the vaccine was mandated for nurses. I’ve vocally held my group and everyone knows where I stand, even though that was social suicide in my hospital. God speed everyone!
Jealous. I’m a nurse and I keep trying to talk my husband into letting me take a travel contract in Florida to test the waters before selling our house. He doesn’t think we are “well off” enough to relocate across the country but I don’t know how we can financially or morally stay in Illinois much longer.
Our hospital is only a little over 50% vaxed and our mandate goes into effect oft 1. I got a religious exemption and have help a few others obtain one too. The same thing is although I am finding a few nurses going against the train.. the majority of that 50% unvaccinated is in our support staff. Out of all professions and departments at our hospital nursing has the highest rate of vaccine compliance and that right there makes me so sad that nurses so willingly jumped on the bandwagon. Multiple of my friends are nurse managers and that are only losing one or 2 staff members over the mandate. But other departments like our central supply and environmental services are going to be crushed. I don’t think anyone is going to want to be anywhere near the hospital when this all goes down, scary times.
My (at the time) second grader came gone from school on November 7th 2020 saying everyone at school knows Biden cheated. The kids have called it as it is the whole time. Are you smarter than a 5th grader??
It’s so sad to see this portion of healthcare silenced. Even us unvaccinated nurses that are proud of being unvaccinated can’t go around the hospital shouting that out loud. The amount of discrimination and peer pressure is insane .

In a similar boat, nurse for 10 years, my organization just paid for my masters degree, just sent me through their 2 year leadership training program, recent employee of the month (out of 20,000 nurses).. and I’m getting canned October 1st… trusting God someone has work for an unvaccinated nurse with an MBA 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
This is very accurate. I’m a nurse manager of a med surg unit. It’s our new norm that our ED hallways are lined with patients in stretchers waiting for an acute care bed to become available. Complex agressive cancers, blood clots/ heparin drips at rates we can’t keep up with, and patients who are so much sicker than we have ever seen. Watching healthcare crumble first person is heart breaking and terrifying. Not enough nurses to go around, and the nurses sticking it out and so burnt out. Not to mention the rate of complex employee (C.N.A./nurses) illnesses, likely from their jabs.
