Schmitt drops the hammer: conspiracy charges have NO statute of limitations.
Shaky statement -
The general statute of limitations for federal crimes is five years;139 prosecution must begin within five years of when the crime's last element has been satisfied.140 The five-year limitation applies to offenses under the general conspiracy statute, which has an overt act element.141 For a prosecution under the general conspiracy statute, prosecution must begin within five years of the last overt act committed in furtherance of the conspiracy.142 A few individual conspiracy statutes, such as the conspiracy to engage in drug trafficking, have no overt act requirement.143 For these "no overt act" conspiracy offenses, the statute of limitations for an individual conspirator begins when he effectively withdraws from the scheme, when the conspiracy accomplishes the last of its objectives, or when it is abandoned.144

AI could be argued within the same field as gun rights as far as that goes. (That could get some people riled up kek)
I'm honestly pretty indifferent on the topic. I tend to take the side of your statement but I'm aware of the concerns others have voiced. Exactly the feedback I had hoped for when making this post.

It's there and blue checkmarked. Comments are kinda fun if ya wanna hangout in a liberal psycho (bot) thread for a minute. kek
Well if people would have had empathy for the criminals before they became criminals then they wouldn't have became criminals so then the victims could have the empathy and never become criminal victims underserving of empathy.
- Kamala Harris (Probably)
It's overdue and I support it, but it's just symbolic. Those ppl make their money in so many other ways that missed gov paychecks isn't going to affect them. Plus they will probably get backpay when it opens back up anyway.
It always amazes me the amount of hate the younger people get in these types of posts. Maybe I'm the one who is out of touch because the younger people around me all have jobs and are, for the most part, hard workers, but then I'm in farm/ranch country so not working isn't much of an option.
Also, 1,002 people is a pretty small sample. I wouldn't come to any conclusions based on that.
What about IBS though? I hear that really sucks too. kek
The easiest way to control a narrative is to give a person just enough information that they come to their own conclusion based on the info you gave them and that conclusion will be exactly the one you wanted them to come to.
Bob was found dead in his home. Bob's wife said he was cheating on her and showed no emotions when questioned. She has a million dollar life insurance policy on him. Who killed Bob?
Wife is "obvious" answer, so lets go with that. Wait, nope. It was Bob's neighbor because Bob used his cordless drill without asking.
when the conspiracy accomplishes the last of its objectives
Idk how that in particular would be determined. A jury I would assume? I'm no lawfag.
