One thing that Q pointed out was the closed (relatively) financial systems of China, Russia, Iran. Important when considering the flow of dark money.

I fear it would be worse than jan 20th in those circumstances. People would try to ‘hold the line’ and suchlike but really, this is too serious to just be completely open-ended

Your experience mirrors a lot of people

It’s amusing to think of how ignorant some currently are and how their eyes are going to be opened

That is a strange question, why do you want to know?

But has anyone checked the comments?

Probably not but if enough abstain/don’t turn up as well... who knows.

Because the individual numbers wouldn’t then necessarily be rounded correctly. This is quite a common mistake to make and y’all ain’t the first. Also, for you’re own sanity try to stay calm.

101% is because you’re adding up the rounding errors. Come on guys we’ve got to be better than this.

Agree, I increasingly think that a lot of this is now out of our hands for the meantime. We’ll be called upon when the time is right. We mustn’t get ourselves into a state of overwhelming anxiety when things are being done for us behind the scenes that are out of our direct control. Our priorities: God, Family, community, self-care.

When you play chess, it’s wise to look for breadth (considering several likely looking candidate moves) before going into depth (picking one and looking several moves ahead to see the consequences of a move). Otherwise you can easily waste time going down a dead end and miss something potentially more obvious. I think a similar strategy here would be useful.

Agree with you. Something needs to happen, although we can’t dictate things. Also we mustn’t get too emotionally invested in any particular timeframe. Many people made this mistake before and wishful thinking is a big danger. It’s important to face the reality of what’s is true not our wish about what’s true. Hope for the best but prepare for the worst.

It’s important to corroborate information from multiple sources too

Yes I think you’re right. I don’t think the Republicans really understand what’s going to happen. Dems do but think the DS can manage it. They’re wrong of course.
