Our biggest issue is we have amazing neighbors here in calirado. Really amazing. They bought a lot in MT but are having second thoughts on building on it. Ideally we find a place we all move to.

I was a product development manager at a juvenile products manufacturer in the ‘90s. We worked on infant positioning wedges, pads, etc coinciding with the AAP’s back to sleep campaign. As well as cribs, cradles, swings, etc.
Looking back on it all now it’s amazing the correlation between infant vaccines and the SIDS issue. And how I unintentionally became part of the situation as we took AAP recommendations at face value.

Makes me proud as I’m teaching in two different fire academies here in Colorado. Many of the candidates are around 20 years old. If I had known about how amazing the fire service is back when I was that age I’d have joined decades ago.
Parents, and all associated with younger people, teach them well.
Crazy eh? There are locations at the Grand Canyon, away from the dumb tourist areas, where there are no railings, paved walkways, and ‘don’t be dumb’ signs...where you can sit on the edge and look down a mile. Where your choices have consequences. Making good choices is important. Regardless of the severity of the consequences.
