Since I quit WOW this is in the back of my mind. I know have learned to make passably good woodwork, decent drywall work, fairly good plumbing, and good (IMO) flooring. My house shows I can do better than just waste time. :)

WOW - I quit the day I learned I put 2.5k hours playing that game. The realization of how many 24 hour days that was scared me. Little did I know I would remain a Zombie until after Trump became POTUS.

I was a middle school teacher last year. As a male, I could not point out female clothing violations. The thought was "you should not be looking..." I argued, it would take a blind man to miss how much flesh this girls is showing, or how every boy was trying to see if a movement by her would reveal even more. Many of the female teachers did not agree with me that many tops were too revealing. I am now teaching 4th graders, and happy this is not an issue.

WAP - I have had 3rd graders humming this... I hate our current culture.

A teacher who retired a few years ago (so we don't do this together anymore), and I used to walk through the school in the morning before others arrived praying and praising the name of God through the halls. I am going to start doing this again on Monday. If your friend is religious, let him know we can pray together for God to enter our schools.

The problem is complex: 1) parents have to work too much - who can home school if both parents work two jobs? 2) Who has energy for a life if they are working two jobs? 3) Too many electronics too young are changing the way kids brains actually work, 4) Mass media creates narratives where kids are smart and parents are derpy...

The whole system needs a reset.
