The rest of what happens is rather obvious from that point.
It won't start out as something big. First, they'll try to get you to trust them. They look for people who are vulnerable. The biggest thing most pedos avoid are children with fathers. Pedos in interviews say that when they chose their targets they avoid children who had fathers at home.
Single mother households are big target for groomers. They want you to depend on them. After that step, they'll start to slip in stuff. Maybe a joke here or there. A term slipped in. "Oh no did I leave this dirty pic on the table. I confiscated that from a student. You were meant to see that." Always an excuse to drop your barriers. They build to the final phase. By the time you're there you won't realize how it could go so far.
I go to schools every week to help and don’t see anything wrong in the schools I went so far. People are very respectful and care about the children like me.

Sometimes he ordered me to stay behind in the classroom when other students were going out to play during recess. He pulled up a chair and sat very very close to me. It was just the two of us in the classroom. He took a pencil and stroked my arm up and down with it. He spoke in a quiet voice and acted as if he were trying to "help" me and correct some of my "bad" behaviors.
I was an early bloomer, and this may be why he targeted me. I did not tell anyone, because, even though his behavior made me uncomfortable, I simply did not know what to report, nor who to report it to.

I cannot express my discontent with the public school system properly without assuring that the only reason there is not more outcry from parents is because of their children being held hostage.
I started to edit the word “hostage” thinking of it being inaccurate but no is close enough. Even though there is no clear ransom there is an understood threat that the child will surely pay a price if the parents ask too many questions.
It makes me sick, and sad to think of what children are going through! I am a teacher in a small town district: No pride flags, no teachers (I know of) grooming kids, no CRT... Some places still teach kids! Not all teachers are monsters.

The problem is complex: 1) parents have to work too much - who can home school if both parents work two jobs? 2) Who has energy for a life if they are working two jobs? 3) Too many electronics too young are changing the way kids brains actually work, 4) Mass media creates narratives where kids are smart and parents are derpy...

He stated to me that it wasn't the schools' problem with the children not learning how to read and write, but the problem lies with the parents not taking the time after work and dinner to read to the little tikes. Well, what are we paying taxes for????????
IMO - It could be both. I tell mu parents that they should create memories reading with their children: snuggles with a good book, honest praise for decoding tricky words...
The education system should have been dead more than a decade ago. Sadly, kids are still being groomed and we are just letting it happen. Churning out brainwashed kids as people are just happy to have free daycare for their most precious gift, while "but we both have to woooooorrrrk!!" is sung. Too bad, so sad. The only pitty is that I am a guest teacher aka sub and I will not have a job 😢, but if it is for the sake of the children I will do anything for them. I love my job because the first thing is the pledge, second instructions of what to do and third because I enjoy see them learning and love to help the schools and the community.
