the black filters are in the hopper that the tap water goes into. water filters thru those into the “new” water chamber. you can screw the fluoride filters to the bottom of the black filters that goes thru the chamber separator. once you put it together you’ll see how it works.
picked up a Travel Berkey a month ago along with 3 sets of replacement filters and 3 sets of fluoride filters. filters around 2 gallons per hour.
I am very impressed with it and the water is delicious. been also using it in the coffee maker. definitely a difference in taste.

I had an arm full of models and some paint in a hobby shop during the height of mask faggotry and they didn't say anything (at least a half hour in the store) until i got close to the counter and they said I had to put a mask on. i said i don't wear masks and they could ring me up and i'd be gone. They pushed it so I set everything down and left. I followed up by going scorched earth on their google business page and social media. I still haven't gone back. I am all for supporting local business (especially the dwindling hobby shop market), but fuck them.
