I will die with my truck. I ordered this baby, '99 F250, 7.3. I used it for work from the time it hit the ground and now I just do part time work since '18. A dear friend works with a dealership and we've had convos about new and newer used vehicles...I'll die with my truck.
This will be my hill. Based on what I've seen thus far from the gov I can't/won't back down. I'm sickened and saddened to see the current events. My ever so wonderful, legal, embracing a strong work ethic family members, nieces, nephews, and grand kids, I'm saddened, if we can't fix this then....I just don't know.
The neighborhood I live in they just might be decimated before they make it too my addy....sadly.
I stayed a couple days in the french quarter about 8 weeks or so ago. Met family members and a friend there. We all stayed on Canal St. At the hotel there was a small part of the lobby where a mask was required, stupid yes. That was the only time a mask was worn by any of us, pass the mask nazis no more mask. There was at the time a curfew/mask requirements for restaurants/bars...all establishments we saw ignored that requirement. We didn't see any enforcement of the curfew or masks, in fact most people ignored the requirement. We spoke with a restaurant owner who said whatever they require we all will overlook it. Since N.O. has cancelled all the events I plan to go back when it cools down for a few nights. We stayed at a very nice hotel on Canal for $114 p/n and that was because at the time all events were cancelled.
BTR here, my dad tested positive for covid, yes, he was sick. They scheduled him to come in for an infusion of regeneron. I took him there and at the time there were 4 nurses on the "covid" floor. 2 to man the desk and 2 to administer the regeneron. I did peek as best as I could but saw no other activity on the floor. The nurses did offer that 1/4 of the patients testing positive did get the shot. The nurses were friendly and laid back, definitely no stress showing. My dad recovered quickly and is doing fine...did I mention my dad is 90 y/o. NO shots for us either.
It's ATL, I'd expect nothing less and if whatever they tried to do didn't happen fear not they'll keep trying. Ya might not even have to surveil them, some aren't shy about doing it when ya have eyes one them....they've been doing it this way for years. The videos from election night proved that. Between the traffic mess and the political thugs it was time for me to leave.
I literally just got back from a few days in the French Quarter, The only time I came across a mask nazi was at the hotel in the lobby, nowhere else. The bar area in the lobby no mask no problems. There were some people no matter where they were wore masks.
Sigh, my name is Karen. I'd never act like one of those. Maybe I should utilize my middle name Marie. When someone mentions I'm not wearing a mask I usually say I'm not wearing any underwear either and that usually puts an end to it. I suppose in situations like this I could just say my name is Karen and see if that works.
The best! He holds nothing back.
