This book was in the school library. Publisher is Scholastic, probably the biggest children's publisher in North America, maybe the world. They're the ones that have the book club flyers and book fairs in schools across the USA and Canada.
Look at the cover. The prepubescent central character is obviously emphasized above the older teenage characters flanking her. No way that kid is more than 9.
Now check out the back cover. Again, the emphasis is on the youngest character, who is clearly prepubescent. Nothing indicates this book is not aimed at 3rd - 5th graders. https://files.catbox.moe/4f2u9a.jpg
Here is the part my student showed when I asked what was inappropriate. First, my eyes landed on the violence on the right-hand side of the spread, but then she said it's more than that. The two teenaged boys are unmistakably leaning in for a deep kiss when they are interrupted. https://files.catbox.moe/ticcxr.jpg
According to the article:
Threats against election workers and public officials are on the rise nationwide, causing an exodus from the profession.
A 2022 Brennan Center poll found that 30 percent of officials polled knew one or more election workers who left their jobs in part because of fear for their safety. Some 60 percent of officials flagged concern that the threatening and harassment of election officials would make it difficult to recruit and retain workers.
So this will hopefully open up positions for honest patriots to step in.
Had a bad sore throat last night. I took a couple drops of thieves' oil (aka Marseilles Remedy) in 1/8 cup of water in the middle of the night. Within half an hour, I could feel a difference. Anyway, this morning I did the same, I'm still feeling it a little. I'm going to get a swab test for strep because it's been going around. I will only take antibiotics if truly necessary. Any other alternative remedies for mild case of strep you've tried? I understand you are not providing medical advice and this is for information purposes only.
I have a stroke every time I see a bright street light. It's all good. Oh wait, no I don't get a stroke, my pupils contract. Sorry, I'm always mixing those things up. Maybe I looked at a bright light and got brain damaged. 🤕
Which means it could take 6 or 8 years. But OP said the whole thing could be done in 6 months and I say it's not possible, no matter who's in charge or where the money is coming from. My little breakdown had 6 steps. Impossible to each of them in a month.
Haste makes waste. I wouldn't go near a bridge that took a total of only 6 months to :
- Clear the wreckage away from the site,
- Tender contracts for design, engineering and construction,
- Plan, and
- Build:
(a) the foundations for the supports (b) The bridge structure, and (c) The roadway.
4 years would be pretty speedy, IMHO.
I think several people here have lost sight of the meaning of the phrase false flag. It is an attack, whether there is real bloodshed or not, by one entity that is disguised as a different entity to put the blame on the latter. E.g., a battalion from Purple Land hoists a Yellow Land flag and attacks a city, killing the beloved mayor and his wife in order to provoke a retaliatory response against Yellow Land.
Listen, I 100% believe that the Vax is partially and maybe mostly responsible, but I also 100% believe that stress is a significant player in those numbers, with DS policies and lockdown after-effects, including massive inflation, being a huge cause of said stress.
Harper also refused to do anything about the Supreme Court's striking down of laws against abortion or gay marriage even though he could have by introducing new legislation. He made all kinds of bad decisions that made many conservatives reject his party, ushering in the reign of Justin Trudeau. This was by design, IMHO.
So Facebook's software contains spyware trojan horse. Hmmm... Didn't Facebook also create a version of Messenger just for kids? Hmmm.....
