Did people actually think something was going to happen?

Had all my settings off and my phone muted, still got it and it still played the noise

Gaetz nominated Trump himself back when they were choosing the last speaker and got laughed at. No one thought he was serious. Honestly I still think it's a very long shot. There's no way all Republicans would vote for him, and definitely no Democrats will.

I don’t think there’s even enough support to remove McCarthy. But there’s no way Trump would become speaker. Do you remember when (I think it was Gaetz?) actually nominated him at one point? They laughed

Can we stop circlejerking RFK Jr? He disagrees with probably anything Trump supporters do besides his stance towards Big Pharma

If this was the case then why not just lie and hold off on announcing her death like they’ve probably done with Biden?

Did anyone catch the other day when he said “So, less than five months from now we’re going to defeat crooked Joe Biden, we’re going to take back our country and we’re going to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”?

Ukrainians, Belarusians and Rusyns are all descendants of the Ruthenians. Pre WW2, there were still a lot of Ukrainians in southeast Poland, but there were a lot more Poles in comparison. Re-annexation would’ve made sense back then, but nowadays I’m not sure it would work out well. Not sure if they even still have a claim to the land much. I’m sure that was all negotiated and settled at the end of the war. Poland got bits of Germany in compensation. Compare this with Japan’s Northern Territories they still have claims on despite no Japanese living there anymore.

But if we’re giving Poland a chunk of Ukraine then might as well give Zakarpattia Oblast to Hungary too, otherwise it would be a Ukrainian exclave with a significant population of Hungarians

There’s hardly any Poles left in Ukraine anymore. If Poland took back their former land there they’d be annexing millions of Ukrainians, so unless they flee of their own volition, if Poland doesn’t want them, then time for ethnic cleansing

Doesn't the capital have to be outside of a state? Washington could never be under Maryland as long as it were the national capital. Unless maybe you do that one plan to cut down the federal district to basically just the National Mall, that might work.

I don’t understand how Kiev hasn’t been wiped off the map

Instead, her amended order still bans legal gun owners from carrying firearms at playgrounds and parks or other places set aside for children to play

So the children are still defenseless

I'm more concerned about rent. I'm many years away from being able to buy a house. I can barely afford rent as it is.

On a scale of Sunday to Saturday which Fetterman are you feeling today?

Japan loves Trump. They hate Western liberalism. I was there between May and June this year and despite it being "pride month" I only saw one single gay flag in the window of a Western chain of stores in Tokyo. I wish I could've seen something like this while I was there!

Does it matter? If Biden says he’s pardoned then for all intents and purposes he is so in the eyes of the law

3

In terms of Democrats, he’s by far the best. But he’s said some things and has opinions that conflict with MAGA ideology.

Originally their fingers did touch but he repainted it like this IIRC
