Tears from the bountiful fruited plain.
These people are heroes, straight up. I watched the whole vid last night -- this is a Trader Joe's in Santa Cruz, CA. Talk about going into the BELLY OF THE BEAST to do this. They'd shoot you for going maskless, there.... if only they had any guns. :D
A lot of people state, rightly, that "just go maskless" is an easy thing to say when you're not living in a blue shithole. And that's true. The mask-wearers are a genuine religious cult. Their efforts to shame and other-ize the sight of a human face is monstrous and inhuman. The psychological pressure to conform is overwhelming, and in many places, as seen here, you're even physically threatened for going maskless. I DON'T obey the mask orders, and I do live in a place with one and have traveled to bluer cities since this started and defied them there, with various degrees of pushback -- but never have I tried it in a place as full-on Stalinist in Santa Cruz. These people have MAJOR balls.
Yeah, "just go maskless" is a flippant and easy thing to say. But it's also the ONLY way any of this madness is ever going to stop. It's going to take a critical mass of people telling these fascists cities and states NO, screw YOU, we will not comply. It starts with each one of us. That's why my hat's off to the magnificent guys and gals in this video -- THESE are some serious patriots.
Yeah, remember that? The "treadmill accident"?
I've seen deceased people in caskets who were better Senate leaders.
This movie sucks.
Wrong. It's deep blue.
Commie red, yeah.
CA did not go to Trump. To believe that is to misunderstand just how deep, deep blue the state really is. I can believe they stole potentially hundreds of thousands of votes from Trump there, but not FIVE MILLION.
The Maskers are doing something similar.
My favorite part is that the Cattorney is apparently Hank Hill.
There are none. Every single GOP senator is compromised and needs to be thrown out on his/her/xer ass. The only potential exception is Tuberville, and only because he just got there.
Who's going to do it?
In other news, bank robbers vote that grand larceny is legal.
Low-IQ definitely, but they also seem to have a REALLY strong need to shout the N-word for some reason.
Apparently the freedom of the entire world depends upon our ability to scream the "n" word on the internet like obsessive Tourette's patients.
He was in all three of them. The decrepit asshole is a big Batman fan. Unfortunately he's one more reason those movies aren't aging well.
Not really, but I've answered yours.
If they have to. They can get five or six GOP senators easily enough. They'll trumpet the "conviction" vote as "bipartisan".
Seriously, why are they holding the trial at all otherwise?
Uh, NONE of this is how it works. They're doing it anyway.
This trial itself is impossible, having a senator preside over it is impossible, but they're doing it. They DON'T have 67 senators to convict, they know they're not going to get 67. They wouldn't be going this far with all this just to let it all blow up in their faces.
Hey, whoa! They told us not to use that word here!
Predicting it now: they're going to go with a simple-majority vote to convict. Of course that's blatantly unconstitutional, but then what about this entire thing isn't? They'll convict on a ~55-45 vote, declare him ineligible from ever holding office again, say it's done, and what are we gonna do about it?
The Democrats MUST know they don't have anywhere near a two-thirds majority, so why would they be going through this?
What was the slide? (not watching this shit.) "Chuse" is the spelling used in the Constitution, not that it would be easy for me to believe they'd be quoting that.
Show a liberal a black Englishman and watch their head explode.
Oh sure, NOW they do this when they know it has no chance of ever passing.
Abort the GOP.
