Just like modern scholars who feel the need to correct God's word. If I'm not mistaken the only time Jesus rejoiced during the 1st advent is when God is making a mockery of the religious elite.

Amen. In Satan's most consequential battles he used God's own words as a weapon, but with minor alterations or omissions. He twisted God's words to Eve and omitted words when tempting Jesus. KJV shows what he omitted, but the modern copyrighted commercial bibles make them match so Satan's strategy gets covered up.

That combined with the melodramatic deliveries of these headcanoned insights makes the place seem crazy.

I think Satan is playing both sides to a large extent. The left gets "woke", the right gets "awakened", but the Christian gets "born again".

The Jewish Elite corrupted the Old Testament scriptures with the Talmud the same way the Catholic Church corrupted the Old and New Testaments by creating an alternate set of texts, Vaticanus and Sinaiticus, which all modern translations spawn off of.

The majority text's only pure, modern offspring in the English language is the King James Bible.

Some Biblical applications.

"The life is in the blood".

We are saved from our sins by putting our faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.

Eating blood is forbidden by Paul to NT Christians, it was forbidden before that in the Mosaic Law, it was forbidden before that when God gave instructions to Noah, and if the forbidden fruit in the garden was grapes(wine is a typology of blood as evidenced by last supper and other places), then not eating blood is the one commandment given to every human in history.

During the Great Tribulation members of the beast system will behead all Gentiles who come to faith during that time, and it two-thirds of Jews will be killed and cannibalized.

Surely this is a step towards that end, towards the Antichrist Kingdom being prepared, and consequently the Lord Jesus Christ coming to take away his bride, the Church of believers in His death and resurrection.

I'd imagine to a "doomer" the constant indignation and rants over the idea that anyone would doubt the Q position would be plenty of fuel to keep them going. Especially when written in a corny way like this. This looks like it could be copypasta.

It's based on the book of Numbers when Moses held up a serpent on a staff and all who looked upon it would live. Jesus explains it was typology of him being made into our sin(serpent) and raised up(crucified) in John 3 which is the lead in to the famous verse, John 3:16.

edit: I should add, that's the single snake version. The two snake version is the wand of Hermes the greek god of commerce hilariously enough.

If you're trusting solely in his finished work for salvation, the Holy Spirit will come to live inside of you and will be a witness inside of you that you are saved & right with Jesus.

1 John 5:10-13

10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.

11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

No it's OK either way. Remember when Jesus died how the veil in the temple was torn down the middle? It used to be that only a high priest could enter in once a year with blood sacrifice to go behind the veil. Once Jesus died, it tore from top to bottom, meaning now anyone can walk in to the Father.

God doesn't hear the prayers of the wicked, but Jesus is our propitiation that allows us to commune with the Father. If you read John chapter 3, you'll notice that John 3:16 is a past tense action, "God so loved the world..." but at the end of that same chapter we get his present tense attitude towards the sinner "His wrath abideth". Basically, if you're saved you can pray to the Father, but if you're not you can't until you get right with his son.

It's good to be afraid of Satan, but it's better to be afraid of God. After all, God is the one who throws people into Hell. Anything Satan does he does with God's permission.

It's good that you want to ask for forgiveness and are acknowledging God's existence and want to get right with him, but we can't just ask for forgiveness and have it be granted - we have to follow the way he laid out through His Son's blood.

Imagine if Hillary Clinton got arrested and sentenced to death and asked the judge for forgiveness. If the judge granted it to her he'd be a corrupt judge. However, if someone innocent who isn't on death row was willing to serve her punishment, justice would be served. We have imperfect justice being evil humans, so how much more does a perfect God need to maintain His justice.

The Bible says there is not one person who does good, not even one. None are righteous. The only way we can possibly pass any sort of judgment is by being given God's very own righteousness. Basically God treated Jesus on the cross as if he committed every sin you or I ever committed. We can look at Jesus on the cross to see what God really thinks of us. But if we believe Jesus is who God said he and that he died for us and God rose him from the dead 3 days later, God will basically let us "trade" with Jesus - He was judged as if he lived our lives, and we get to be judged as if we lived his perfect life.

If you're not 100% sure you're saved you need to learn to trust not in yourself or any prayer or baptism or stopping sinning or going to church or anything like that, but just trust that Jesus's work on the cross is enough to pay for your sins.

I've read the Bible a few times, the 2nd time being "cover to cover". Really, it's OK to view the Bible as a collection of 66 books that can be read individually. Sure, they do all fit together very neatly and I think even the current order of the books it the KJV is inspired, but to start off I'd say just reading individual books as a whole is the best way. Just make sure you're reading in context and read the start of books to understand who they're written to(i.e. Paul writes to churches primarily, the book of James is written to "the 12 tribes scattered abroad" - i.e. Jews.). I got saved when I opened my heart to the Bible being true, opened to Romans 3 and 1 minute later understood I was a sinner and got saved. Don't fret over it, just get into it!

The problem with denominations is most have descended out of leaving the Catholic church, yet most have some leftover Catholic doctrine. The Baptists don't have this problem, but then you have the corporate Southern Baptist Convention which is most Baptist churches who are liberal too. It's really hard. Basically I find a church that preaches from the KJV, preaches Jesus Christ crucified as the only payment for my sin, and preaches in dispensational truth - the idea that God deals with different nations and people differently throughout history. i.e. All the Bible is FOR us but not all the Bible is TO us.

American Church culture is horrible. I think it's easier for a drunk in a bar to get saved than someone who is "churched" and going through the motions to be a "good person". The idea of "Christian rock music" makes as much sense as "Christian beer", "Christian casinos", and "Christian porn" to me. Basically American churches try to act like the world to draw in the world to then try to convert the world to...what? Tell them to stop acting like the world?

I think Satan attends every Church service in the country. He controls most American churches and tries to corrupt the good ones. Jesus isn't a part of many, so in a sense in America Satan is in church more than Jesus.

independentbaptist.church is a great website created by a missionary with a YT channel Spencer Smith. He teaches good doctrine and has gathered a list of true Bible believing churches. It's honestly the only resource I'd trust at this point. The rapture is coming soon and Jesus said when he comes he'll ask if there's even any faith left on the earth. It'll only get harder over time so get right now!

That's a great start. Catholicism is not Christianity and they teach a different gospel. They made a wreck of me too and caused me to even hate what I thought was Christianity until I got saved at 17. I'd recommend getting a KJV(only version that isn't copyrighted or influenced by Catholic Church) and reading John and Romans.

If you're unsure you're saved or what is even required all you have to do is believe the gospel for the Church Age as Paul states in 1 Corinthians 15:

1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Let no one tell you there is any other gospel or any other work to be added. The blood of Jesus is all we are to trust in. I hope you trust in it and get into the Bible.

Just a few months ago I led my mom to the Lord after Catholicism messed her up too. Even after you walk away a lot of Catholic "baggage" can linger in how we think. If you're ever not 100% sure you'll go to heaven feel free to DM me and I can talk you through it using scripture.

I think the link misinterprets the "gathering out of many nations" and stretches way too far to the "melting pot" idea. It's the opposite as only one race is gathered out of many nations back to Israel. The Jewish Old Testament doesn't end with Malachi like our Bible does, but instead 2 Chronicles, which ends with a calling of the Jewish people back to their homeland. It makes perfect sense that shortly after the Jewish nation is restored the people would flock back.

Replacement theology goes counter to the Church Age gospel. It implies God rejects Israel due to their sin, but Christians believe God won't reject us due to our sin.

Spiritualizing things when the literal interpretation makes perfect sense opens the door to spiritualizing any verse in the Bible, which in turn opens the door to people interpreting differently and undermining the very authority the Bible claims to have. It's a dangerous hermeneutic. What stops someone from spiritualizing the very gospel? I've heard "If literal sense makes perfect sense don't add your two cents lest you end up with nonsense."

There are plenty of specific verses having to do with Jerusalem and Judea geographically in end times. Even in Revelation it specifies the 144,000 will come out of 12 tribes which are named. I think using common sense on when to spiritualize is best. i.e. Jesus is "the door" but obviously not made of wood, but if the 12 tribes in Revelation are named specifically then we can assume they are the 12 tribes.

I agree that almost all history in the OT is typology for future events. In a sense, most of the Old Testament hasn't even happened yet as weird as that sounds. However, God thinks less than nothing of nations and in Jeremiah it's prophesied that the nations containing Jews at the end times will be destroyed. Presently, the USA has the most Jews aside from Israel, so I'd say that combined with our national apostasy has pretty much sealed our fate as far as that goes.

Satan is presently the god of this world, so I think he's intentionally put Jews in key positions of power in order to then pull the veil off and turn the whole world against the Jews as a whole. The Bible says in the last days the Antichrist will lead the world to war against Israel, so it kind of makes sense that Jews would be put into positions of power to stir up such a war. All we need now is the world's population united and hatred of the Jews to spread and the tribulation stage is set.

The single serpent is the one based on the book of Numbers in the Bible - the rod Moses held up that if someone beheld they'd live from the snake bites. It was a typology explained by Jesus that set up the famous verse, John 3:16.

The two serpents is based off Roman mythology and has to do with commerce - ironic given the medical industry comprises 1/6 of our economy.

The Textus Receptus is almost 6000 documents with little to no disagreement. The King James Version comes from this lineage. The KJV has a crown copyright, which isn't to make money, but to prevent anyone from claiming ownership over God's words.

All the modern versions come from the Catholic influenced Sinaiticus and Vaticanus. Less than 100 documents and there are 1000s of contradictions in just the 4 gospels alone. All the copyrighted, modern Bibles come from these texts, which includes work from Westcott and Hort who didn't even believe the Bible. Even the Greek is a fraud, as they back translated from Latin to Greek and then back forward to English to say it came from Greek, but it wasn't original.

But haven't you heard, "God wins". That means the good guys, us, win. Because God always sides with one side of humans. Except in the Bible where he doesn't take a side and almost every time both sides are outside of his will.

I agree though, these pseudo-spiritual rants and Biblically illiterate "hot takes" on God are by far the most frustrating part about this site. Wish it would just stay focused on Q, though Q also invoked a neo-evangelical take on The Almighty, so I guess it makes sense. Oh well.
