Jerry Jones won't let another team into Texas, and Austin is totally a college sports town. There's a reason the NFL isn't in the same city with Ohio State (Columbus.)
Read an article that the Halas family had already purchased some land, in a suburb in Illinois.
Chicago is dying, like New York and Los Angeles.

Boomer here.
As the first TV generation, boomers got mass conditioned, and at that time we didn't understand the techniques being used.
Deconditioning a boomer is a challenge, if it's worth it.
First one that worked for me was talking to a guy about Bernie Sanders, cause most boomers dislike him, anyway.
"You know how you know Bernie Sanders is lying?"
"How?"
"He's a jew that says he's going to give you something."
You have to make it specific to a person. You can't start out with broad discussions about Jew conspiracies.
When they complain about a specific person doing something horrible, just go, "Well, duh. They're jewish. What did you expect?"
Quote that worked best for me was, "The jew cries out in pain as he strikes you."
Most people never re-examine early thought processes. You have to make them do that, and it doesn't happen in one conversation.

Vancouver Times is a fake news site that puts fake stuff out specifically to trap conservatives. It is NOT a real news source.
This story is fake.

Typical condescending NYT bullshit. It’s the protected class trying to turn Trump voters away from Trump by pretending they give a crap about our concerns, and that once they get absolute power, this time they’ll pay attention, if we’ll just vote for one of the uniparty candidates.

This is not satire. It’s psy-op. Throw fake news on the pile of real accounts of child molestation, then use it to discredit the actual accounts.

He said it, but he also said Corn Pop was a bad dude, and kids liked to rub his leg hair. We'll wait for the WH interpreters to tell us what he meant.
He could also mean he'd had some kind of cancer, but had recovered.

Nixon was not a great president, but the reason he got removed from office was because after Hoover died, he wanted to clean up the FBI. The FBI (Mark Felt) fed information to the Washington Post about Watergate.
The press made Woodward and Bernstein out to be great investigative journalists, but they were spoon fed all the information by an FBI that wanted to take down a president. The Washington Post was NEVER a great, crusading newspaper. They have always been a mouthpiece for the preferred narrative.

There used to be functionally two parties that called themselves Republicans. The left coast Republicans were Reagan, Goldwater, Nixon, and a few others. The right coast was the Rockefellers, Bushes, and a few others. The Rockefellers did everything they could to kill off the left coast Republicans. Reagan finally killed them off when he granted the first amnesty, and the next democrat president, Clinton, started doing naturalization ceremonies in stadiums in southern California, handing out voter registrations to the thousands that attended. Southern California used to be a conservative stronghold.

Pretty much. Usually, when you overthrow a dictator, you install someone that's on your side. Carter got the shah overthrown, but apparently had no plan for his replacement, and the regime that replaced the shah immediately kidnapped 48 Americans from the US embassy, and spent the next eight months embarrassing Carter and the US.

Ford was probably our dumbest president, until Biden.

4
RichardKimball 4 points ago +4 / -0

I dunno. Ford was barely president, and they tried to assassinate him twice to get Rockefeller, the VP in. Kinda funny that the first attempt to assassinate him was from Squeaky Fromme, part of the Manson cult, which was probably a CIA op.

He gave away the Panama Canal.
He was responsible for the mullahs taking over Iran. He told the Shah to tear up their current oil contracts and give them to companies where his brother could skim money. Shah refused. Carter worked to get him overthrown.
18% interest rates on homes, gas shortages so bad you could only get gas every other day (if your license plate ended in an odd number, you got gas on odd number days.).
One thing I remember, during his inaugural parade, the got out of his car and walked down the parade route with his suit bag over his shoulder, an "outsider man of the people." Turned out the suit bag was empty.
Like Biden, Carter was the double threat combination of hopelessly corrupt and hopelessly incompetent. Small time grifter trying to play with the big boys.

I drop my ad blocker for no site.
Griner is a microcosm of the left, woke, whatever you want to call them, facing reality.
She got a pass on everything cause she was black, lesbian, hated the US and had basketball skills, at least as much as a woman can have basketball skills.
She held up her shield of people of color, lgbtwhatever, and no one could criticize her.
She broke the law in a foreign country, and is now AMAZED that the shield that protected her from any negative consequences in the US doesn't work there.

This guy was willing to destroy the country for his kickbacks. Don't look to me for pity.

Anyone notice the Trump 2024 banner at the end?

Now THAT'S how the US needs to exercise our second amendment rights!

Haven't been to a doctor in over a year. They called me and said I was three years past due for my health examination. I told them I was scared of COVID, and that I wouldn't go anywhere that it was so dangerous I needed to wear a mask, and that they could call me back when it was safe enough to go to the doctor without wearing one.

Who gives a fuck about Griner? She went to a foreign country and broke their laws. I find it funny, cause she's the epitome of the ugly American who can get away with anything in the states. She's a black feminist lesbian WNBA player who hates the U.S. That gives her four shields against criticism in this country, so it's good for her to go someplace where she gets treated just like anyone else would for breaking the law.

Why would they kill one of their allies?
The FBI never discovered a plot they didn't initiate.

Not shocking. He just maneuvered Twitter into having to prove their SEC filing, and shoved the SEC into the spotlight, forcing them to at least pretend to investigate.
Twitter was a very effective gas lighting outfit.
