Logan's Run is a novel by William F. Nolan and George Clayton Johnson. Published in 1967, it depicts a dystopic ageist future society in which both population and the consumption of resources are maintained in equilibrium by requiring the death of everyone reaching a particular age.

Unclear if it is "blackhats" cabal mocking us by telling us what they plan to manufacture consent or "whitehats" warning us about the "blackhats". Definitely some shadow stuff going on during this time period, but the whole movie industry soft disclosures possibly hit or miss. I am still trying to determine if there was a "soft disclosure period" in here. "2001" released in 1968 was definitely soft disclosure and pre-programming for the moon landing in 1969. The moon landing appears to the be the second movie filmed by Kubrick in 1968 right together with "2001: A Space Odyssey".

Just saying that the Apollo astronauts did not take those flimsy mockups with too small fuel tanks and land them there (the landings were filmed in a studio). Yea, I watched this movie a zillion years ago. Liked it, too. Isn't is odd how all of these old sci fi movies are getting traction among conspiracy theorists? Planet of the Apes, Poseiden Adventure, Towering Inferno, Capricorn One, Soylent Green, Rollerball, and a few others seem to be a way for the WEF, WHO, TPTB to program the sheeple on what to expect. They will always forecast their intentions and with these movies it looks like folks will die young, won't have a lot at the end of their lives, and have to fight tooth and nail to stay alive.
You could add Metropolis to this list, too - released in 1927, it clearly shows the world of the elites above and the slaves below but ends with hope for the future.
I always liked Logan's Run because it, too, ends with hope and a reason to believe that things will change for the better. Unlike most dystopian movies.
Westworld and it's sequel Futureworld, probably belong in the list above. They don't exactly end well but are some very good '70s sci-fi.
Zardoz is another one that fits with the films you mentioned.
Plus it's one of those "it's so crappy it's good" type movies. Definitely worth a watch if you don't mind a semi nude space barbarian Sean Connery playing the lead role.
Burt Reynolds was supposed to have the lead role until he got sick. Can you imagine Burt Reynolds but with his cowboy hat from being The Bandit? LMFAO 🤣🤣🤣
Something to think about: The money men behind the movies, the directors, the writers, the people who had the idea to bring the idea to the silver screen are dead. They knew in advance that what we are experiencing now would happen....at this current time frame. So their children and grandchildren had to be indoctrinated into this mindset at a young age. How tight must be the generational grip on this NWO philosophy that they never sway from the ultimate goal. Who has that kind of power or money to keep so many people in line for such a long time? God needs to come back soon and put every wrong into the trash bin of history. Maybe he will lock up Satan so no children will get harmed, too.

"THX 1138" wasn't a bad movie about a dystopian society. It was George Lucas' directorial debut, from 1971. Some people like it, some don't.
"A Scanner Darkly" is pretty good, but novel was better, as usual. It's a 2006 movie starring Keanu Reeves, Robert Downey Jr., Woody Harrelson. Warning, it's animated using rotoscoping, where the actors are drawn over after live acting the scene. That bothers some people, but I like it. Here's an example from the movie.

There was another one I read back in school..wish I could remember the name of it. What I can remember is people basically had a handful of different masks to wear and to be part of society you had to choose one. Singing and etc was Outlawed.
