my taste/smell returned about same as your timeline...slowly at first...i had taken ivmctn and supplements when first started...mine was symptom of throat on fire feeling, coughing, lost voice a day or so and not sure it didnt damage vocal chords, but that was couple years ago...so i don't sing as well as before, lol...my dogs are happy...

i like your vision...have often thought about doing away with the entire VA system, issue veterans "medicare-like" benefits that can be used anywhere, then turn those huge VA hospitals into veterans living areas...with this, the veterans would get better/quicker medical help, regular hospitals/doctors can provide care, and do away with all that VA overhead expense, and have oversight for fraud monitored...maybe just a pipe dream, but i am all for giving our veterans the best care they should have...
