Good point. Jon even points out (quite regularly) that he wishes he could rewrite some of his earlier stuff because some of the minor points are wrong. But for posterity sake, he isn't editing them at all.
I started watching the Devolution Power Hour on Badlands media a while ago, and I love how Jon's always willing to explore new angles and critique and discuss his own viewpoints.
Plus, the tension/feud between him and Burning Bright is hilarious. The Power Hour is my second favorite (behind Eye of the Storm)
People nowadays often forget how much pilots did before computers, and how their copilot wasn't just backup ... they performed many calculations and also handled many of the secondary systems. Our first astronauts were the best of the best of our top pilots.
I would be careful to be dismissive. This is the world's oldest "religion". Also, be aware that Wikipedia has a vested interest in presenting it as dead.
I'm not arguing against you; I'm building on your initial point:
Track it's symbolism, how it's evolved, what it's integrated with. Sure, the initial, rigid interpretation of it (as stated by Wikipedia) may look pretty dead/dated, but there's a strong case to be made that slithered through the millenia and is heavily intertwined with modern Free Masonry and Luciferianism / Satanism. This potentially could be the "Whore of Babylon" in Revelations.
Variants appear to me to have infiltrated most powerful organizations; including the Vatican.
I could also be totally crazy and am known for tilting with windmills...

He must be out of Andrenochrome ...
