No, daughter one is a LEO and daughter two is a cosmologist. My two youngest went to private school that was full of “Susie homemakers” mothers. Their houses were a mess, their children took lunchables for lunch, and some came in wrinkled school uniforms. Yet these bastions of virtuous motherhood had no problem vilifying me and the one other working mom, a lawyer, except when they wanted a donation for their latest project. Then we were just fine and dandy. My children grew up with career parents. They are all grown, well educated, gainfully employed, and decent citizens. SAHM only works when they see as they should…their job.

35 years of 4 children in school. 40 years of parenting minor children. My children are 40, 37, 21 and 19. We worked off shifts and weekends and expected nothing from the grandparents. I did my time. I’m not assisting Susie homemaker with her decisions at this stage of my life. The couple can figure it out like we did.

My mother was arrested many times for illegal drug use and prostitution.
I have 6 siblings and none of us have the same two parents.
None of us have been in jail either. One retired from the Air Force, one owns a very successful IT company, I’m a six figure employee that has held public office. The rest are decent humans living their lives raised equally decent children.
I’m glad people don’t judge me based on my egg and sperm donor.
