Jesus is dressed in coattails and top hat to tango her into forever. When I miss my mom I picture this, just like the Frank Astaire and Giner Rogers movies she so loved. Jesus tap dancing and my mother doing "everything He did but backwards".. Forever in bliss. Rest in Power to your mom and I will not forget you, my own dear mother.

I am sorry to hear this, truly. Alzheimer's is one of the hardest diseases to face in the ones you love, because you tend to lose that person years before they finally pass away.

It takes a lot of strength to face that every day and to keep wearing a face that makes them feel safe and loved, even when they don't know who you are.

I hope you are able to take this time to grieve and finally find some peace.

My thoughts are with you.

Tell her to say hello to my dad.

When he died I was sad but knowing he is with the Lord Jesus made it better. It is sad to think about those who don’t believe.

My mother left us last night as well. She was at home surrounded by family and friends and went peacefully while we were praying, singing (badly) and sharing happy stories. She wasn't conscious but I know she could hear us.

She had her mind, her body was just tired.

Sorry for your loss friend.

Thank you. My sister was her caregiver, she and my mom were very close it's hitting her hard, I'm sure my time will come right now I'm staying strong for my family.

Last night when I was falling asleep I know I felt a kiss on my forehead like my mom used to do. I was sleeping in her recliner in the livingroom after everything.

I am so sorry. I too lost a parent - my dad - after 10 years with vascular dementia. It is a very slow goodbye that is so hard on the family. Like you, I look forward to reuniting with him in heaven one of these days.

God bless you and family. My parents both passed a little over a decade ago and what keeps me from being to sad or remorseful is knowing in health they smiled and loved alot. That's all I see when I think of them. Their laughing, smiles and hugs.

God bless you. My mom and step-dad both passed in 20 from long term Parkinsons. They both picked cotton as children. Pesticides I'm sure. I can talk to my mom now, and know that once again she understands me. I pray for peace for you. These are very hard times.

I’m sad for you, but also happy. To be with the Father, our Lord and Savior. The best day.

It reminds me of when the Mary’s ran from Jesus’s tomb, as the angle told them He is not there. To go seek Him in Galilee. They ran with fear and excitement. Of the unknown. They knew something amazing has happened, and will happen. We should all have that. That fear of change. But excited and looking forwards to it. For something so much greater than we have now on Earth. Jumping up and down screaming with Joy. Your mother now has this. I’m sorry to say she won’t be thinking much about all of us down here. 😂 To be with our Savior...that’s winning friends. God bless you and your family friend. I hope our Lord can ease this passing with His continued Joy and blessings for you. ❤️🙏

I’m so sorry for your loss. I pray that the Lord will give you comfort, and that you and your family will find ways to celebrate her life instead of focusing on her death. There’s no right or wrong way to grieve, so just you do you.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Mothers are the glue that holds the family together. Mine passed away when I was 19, she 46, cancer. My Dad tried to hold us together but in the end it wasn't great. I had good parents and grandparents. I feel blessed to have had them in my life. 🙏😥

I am, like countless other patriots here Also terribly sorry for your Loss. - But may I give you Wonderful News...

I worked 40 years in medicine (& tho mostly in ICU-contexts), I managed couple Memory-care units where I showed... Alzheimers is Not hereditary, rather BOTH Preventable & Reversible... & any brain can heal. It does this via Neuroplasticity iow “the brain’s ability to change, remodel & reorganize for the purpose of adapting to new situations.” See:

  • in this en-pointe site https://doctordoni.com/2018/04/prevent-and-reverse-alzheimers-disease/
  1. Improve Methylation... by Adding B9/Folate to your diet via: Spinach, liver, Asparagus, Brussels sprouts, Avocado, Broccoli offer highest folate levels.
  2. Critical is to Never supplement with Folic-acid as that prevents the uptake of Folate in your blood: https://communities.win/c/Ladies/p/15HIAiMg7B/folate-vs-folic-acid/c See my 5th, 8th. etc comments in that thread.
  3. Supplement Only with Methylfolate like https://www.puritan.com/folic-acid-vitamin-b-9-366/ppmethyl-folate1000mcg100-012166 <<< This is so critical because Unlike folic acid, this 5-MTHF can cross the blood-brain barrier which helps your BRAIN prevent degeneration. AND too:
  4. Erythrocyte folate concentration 140+ ng/mL indicates adequate folate status in your blood. So by getting tested yearly you can avoid anxiety.

Your beautiful Mom is in Heaven now, awaiting you with her Love... - yet while you live on this side of the veil may this Good News bring you also Joy... Take Good care. God Loves you deeply. True.
