Pick up one of these and thank me later
True that.
Hitting the precipice is not a cliche. As a recovering alcoholic it took getting to the point of losing everything before I snapped and did a 180. (by everything, I mean EVERYTHING)
Don't discount tough love when helping an addict either. If you are only telling them, "it's gonna be okay" or the like it aint helping.
Personally, I knew I couldn't do it alone and at that point I had no one in my life to turn to. That's when I turned to Jesus and asked for divine intervention. The Holy Spirit came over me instantly from head to toe. It was exhilarating to say the least and i asked to no longer have the desire to drink. From that point forward I can honestly say that I have zero desire for anything mind altering.
It wasn't easy though. I had to immediately change my lifestyle. The desire was no longer there, but the daily habits had to be broken.
Agreed, this is like saying Hillary's emails have been erased and destroyed. Those emails went out or came in from other devices so with some effort they are all still out there somewhere to be gathered. Your scenario is just the same...somebody's gotta make the effort to find it.
Yep, Epic Games is (are) scum of the earth.
