This sounds a lot like my 9 yrs of Catholic School. The nuns did quite a few things along these lines but only when teaching us about God, sinning, the Church, etc. They excelled at teaching “old time school work”. When I left Catholic School in the 8th grade for public school I was 2-3 grades ahead of my peers. I was just starting my 2nd yr of in 7th grade and in public school algebra was a 10th grade class. I was put in an 8th grade “Davy” math class. They were teaching fractions and long division which I learned in 4th grade!
Why the exorbitant cost? Are there only “a few copies”? Do you think they might bring out a paperback edition so more people could afford to see and hopefully under”the great awakening”? Don’t we want ever to understand that this is a new, great, exciting time and to be welcoming it!? I personally would LOVE to read this book! But not $17k worth!🤨

My ex used to work for Phillips back in the early 80’s. At that time Phillips was starting to sell every kind of light bulbs used commercially . They specialized the bulbs into categories: specific ones for jewelry stores which made everything have a much shinier appearance, same for grocery stores. Special ones for the produce dept. They made apples appear redder, green produce looked greener and shinier, same with special lights for the meat dept. Meat looked redder and brighter. But the lighting was so subliminal you couldn’t tell the difference from one area to another. They sold street lights to cities that were guaranteed for 5-7 yrs., but they gave off an amber hue and were $300 each. They weren’t very bright and they didn’t light a very large area so cities put in more street lights, more cost to the city for more light poles but 7 years before having to replace the lights. If they didn’t last at least 5 yrs they were replaced for free. Really opened my eyes to how deceptive stores and companies could be. They also sold lights that dimmed or got brighter for offices so people on gloomy, rainy days wouldn’t feel less productive and in summer the dimmer lights would keep people from wanting to be out in the sunshine! My ex had a month of special “training” to emphasize all the advantages to the customers that these “special” lighting features would be “a little more expensive but sales would make up the difference”!
