An important point here is that this type of rule can be instated fairly easily once you make it so that parents have to work so hard to just survive and feed their kids that they will be relieved to give them over to the state and be free of the burden. The self-righteous will applaud this maneuver because it will take kids away from "bad" parents. The state already does this, its called CPS, they have a stellar reputation... I think you are missing their angle on this. States, Cities, Federal Government, Military etc has already purchased the old batches. Now that a new vaccine is being released they instaban the old one. All old batches must be discarded as they are no longer approved. Everyone now has to purchase the latest, greatest vaccine. There is only public perception that these people believe what they say, their livelihood depends on double think.
