I am fortunate that my elderly mom and my wife are 100% awake. Sadly the rest of the family are jabbed and hostile. The one bit of hope I have is from my 16 year old son and his friends...every day they seem to be more awake - they seem to understand much of what is really going on.

This is 100% correct. Here in TX bed usage is way down vs pre-pandemic norms BUT "staffed" beds are almost gone. This is a problem that they manufactured.

It is based on weight - but I was to take 7 x 3mg tablets a day for 5 days.

I had it. So did the wife and kids. I am 54 and it sucked for a couple of days. Took ivermectin and was fine in 36 hours. Same for the wife. The kids never really even slowed down. If you are high risk be cautious - otherwise don't worry. DO NOT GET THE JAB. No reason at all to risk it.

Unforgivable. I can report that CVS fulfilled my prescription for ivermectin...but I got more from Americas Front Line Doctors...just in case. I have spoken to family and friends who have reported having to go to 5+ docs in order to get ivermectin...100% report recovering almost immediately after getting it. My entire family was back to normal in 48 hours.

I live in Texas as well. This is all bullshit. You can go to the Texas Medical Center website and see that the icu is running at 80% (well below precovid) and that covid patients make up only a fraction of the bed usage. Note: whenever there is a fear-mongering story in Texas it refers to "Staffed" beds...not available beds. Stop firing nurses and the problem is solved!

My Dr. originally prescribed it to me and the cost for the 5 days was about $60 (no insurance here). I got two more 5 day cycles and a z-pack from America's First and it was more expensive - around $300.

All I can say is that symptoms were like a bad flu and I was tired as shit for 2 weeks after. Whatever it was, Ivermectin, zinc and vitamin C sent it packing.
