The most reasonable approach given what we know now seems to be that Q team is comprised of godly men, America-loving patriots who had massive intel yet were not omniscient, didn't fully master the scope of what they were up against; they're adaptable, determined, and working on adjusting plans to stay on the offensive; but it's going to take longer than any of us can guess right now. Two more weeks could be two more years or two more decades...or more.
They're taking on something with thousands of years of entrenched treachery supporting it. We just have to be patient and see what happens.
