The turbo and direct EFI makes all the difference. If the little 1.5 had them back in the day it would probably make 70 - 75 MPG and perform much better.

Turbocharged four cycle diesel. It's the most efficient internal combustion engine in existence. I have a nine-year-old, 165,000 mile turbo diesel VW that gets ~35 - 39 MPG around town and 50+ on the highway. Plus or minus 700 miles per tank and I can re-fill it in ten minutes.

That’s nothing new, UFOs were flying around the Clinton reservoir/Clinton Road area forty years ago.

BTW, Clinton Road has its own unsavory reputation for haunting although I never encountered anything odd and I lived just a couple of miles away and drove it many times.

Lying piece of fag boy shit.
How ‘bout that law license?
How ‘bout that Harvard transcript?
How ’bout that Columbia transcript?
How ’bout that real birth certificate?

Can he charged with lying on his security clearance applications?

What a man. A role model for warriors everywhere.
He should get some stripes for that. Right across his back…

I was in IT and telecom for over forty years starting as a programmer and ending as a firewall ops engineer. I spent twenty years with Ma Bell and some time with the biggest name in networking. I am happily retired and learning CAD and electronics just to keep my mind busy.
Best wishes and Merry Christmas to you!

Ironically, I am somewhat of a grammar and spelling nazi but there are people who have no sense of humor or willingness to learn so I have learned to curb my enthusiasm. I had a boss years ago who had been an executive secretary early in her career. She insisted that any written comms going to the wider corporate community from our organization be reviewed by her. One of my proudest moments came after submitting some documentation to her for review when she told me I didn’t have to have my writing reviewed by her in the future. I felt I had passed an important test.

In any case, I am glad that you have gotten some relief, chronic pain can be literally maddening and I hope you continue to improve.

The eye nerves are controlled by four* of the twelve cranial nerves. These nerves arise directly in the brain and do not traverse the spinal cord. Thus, it is unlikely that a bulging disk would affect vision or eye motor control. On the other hand, improving your overall health and reducing pain could have an effect across your whole body.

*Optic nerve, oculomotor nerve, trochlear nerve and abducent nerve. The first is the sense of sight and the other three control the movement of the eye.

A long time ago, in a galaxy far away, I worked IT support for the corporate secretary's office at a then Fortune 50 company. Sometimes thousands of documents needed to be signed by corporate officers. They had a machine that held a pen and was driven in two dimensions by fairly intricate cams simulating the particular person's signature. Each signing was accompanied by an authorizing document. Nowadays, it can be done by a CNC signing machine or, more likely, an e-signature.

Why do they assume it's alright to wear a veritable constellation of stars?

They just look foolish.

An old family friend was an actual chief of police; he wore eagles on the very few times he wore a uniform. He wore a suit most of the time and didn't even carry a citation book.

Mine were 2 XJs with the 5 speed manual and 2WD. I see no real need for 4WD on the road although it is uncanny in the wet if driven correctly. I had a friend who had a lucrative side hustle replacing transfer cases in the yuppie’s SUVs after they stretched the chain and cracked the case.
