Jovan Pulitzer was on Roseanne Barr's podcast. He goes into a lot of detail on this. It is not just votes. It is more of a dark money pit. Something like a trillion dollars. It is a long podcast - 3 hours - but essentially he takes you through the process of how most of these people are not filing income taxes, even though they are given SSN numbers and how all the accounting works. I am not explaining it very well and I plan on going back to review it again, but worth checking out as there is more than meets the eye..
What do people who work at the WH think? Many of these people have been there for years - even generations. They are very tight lipped * but they have to be thinking WTF.
*I read a book a couple of years ago that interviewed the staff that work there - the butlers, maids, etc. Many have worked for multiple administrations - one guy interviewed had started when Eisenhower was in - and see their roles as to provide a home for the First Family. Some of it was a behind the scenes look at what was going on during pivotal moments - one story was about the night before Nixon resigned and he asked one of the pages to take a walk around with him. Some were more humorous. A maid shared that she had walked into the private residence to find Reagan out of the shower in all his glory. He was surprised. She was mortified and ran out of the room. The next day, he sees her in the hall and says to her, "Hey, who was that guy?" to put her at ease.
He said on Tucker he has spent $10M defending himself in these court cases to keep him OFF the ballot. Now they want to keep him on. These people have absolutely no shame because you can't make this shit up.
So, if he remains on the ballot, he should still be getting the belated USSS protection* he had for sbout two weeks, right?
*He is better off with his own, IMHO, but we need as many Socratic pills as we can get for those out there that keep hitting the snooze button.

Biden camp, huh?
I hear you fren - I know the revenue generation game very well and it is getting very scary out there. Mine currently is a "nice to have" industry. Our territory is not too bad, but definitely slow. Others are getting only a couple of appointments per week. You can't live on that. I interviewed when a recruiter reached out to me recently in my old industry (financial services) but it is quite interesting how everyone wants you to bring a book - no organic growth at all. I blame private equity which is pervasive in many sectors now. It's all about rhe EBITDA. Customers are a distant second and employees are waaay down the list.
And the false job postings- oh yeah. And internal hires do get preference. Which I get, but after awhile, it is a little soul sucking to repeatedly get to the final round and it fizzles out. I stopped telling people that I was interviewing. (I was out 18 months before I landed my current gig.)
Praying for you and your family.. Hang in there!
Someone better at tech than me should make a video of us regulars singing that song phrase one word at a time with a different instrument in the background and string it all together- kind of like Michael Jackson's Black or White (hell maybe AI can take a stab at it). Intersperse it with the man of the hour. Not an exact copy but at the end say any and all proceeds will go to Taylor Hawkins children.
I have nephews who in their early 20s. They have been on the Trump Train for awhile - and they are in SF.
I really like the podcast format. The hard part is time. I drive a fair amount in my job so I rotate between radio and podcasts but I find myself choosing lately because otherwise I don't have time to hangout with all you fine folks. 😁
I think Chris is having his own awakening of sorts. He is still a little sleepy. I think it is complicated by the fact that he grew up in a very prominent political family. He feels allegiance, and I think he is trying to figure that out. Which I get. I may not agree , but I get it.
I read a lot on infertility several years ago. While I do not begrudge those who have utilized it, what pisses me off is how much if it is a scam. It is relentlessly pushed for age related infertility when initially, it was invented for infertility due to blocked fallopian tubes. Something like 75% of the procedures fail (which is why there are multiple rounds, etc.) - anything else with that track record would not pass the muster in terms of a "treatment", but it is a serious moneymaker* and women are gaslit with emotional blackmail - "oh, you didn't try hard enough. You must not really want a baby." It's very cruel.
*My friend has two daughters- both came to him and his wife in tears at the same time because they were not able to get pregnant. The oldest is about 30 and her sister is a couple of years younger. They did not have the money. Essentially, my friends are working a couple of more years at this point because the price of them getting grandchildren was them fronting the cost of IVF. At the time he shared what was going on,, I asked him how much were they in for so far. He paused and answered "$250,000". Now, it worked and they are thrilled, but it also had a very good chance of not working. And there are a lot of people out there who don't get that happy ending. Either they don't have the resources to begin with, or they spend it all and have nothing to show for it.
I say there is a decent chance it is HRC. The RNC had the whole "Let's get ready to rumble!" vibe going on with Hulk Hogan, et al. It's the rematch - Ali and Frazier, Rocky and Creed. We are watching a movie. What better rematch?
Focus on women's health? GFY lady - if you had actually bothered to read the Pfizer docs, you would be singing a different tune.
