Things that make you go hmmm...
Hope to watch the entire thing. Saw on TS his monologue was 17 minutes long. Besides the obligatory "how many minutes, you say?" remark, that is a lot of minutes for an SNL monologue. Can't see how Lorne Michaels allows any monologue to go on that long, especially in this short attention span day and age. And, correct me if I'm wrong, but Michaels himself is Jewish, is he not?
Patriots in control?
A brief explanation and summary: MD started counting mail-in ballots the Thursday after Election Day. The creator of the video has been monitoring the ballot dumps on the MD Election website. He does a good job of breaking it down, but essentially what happened is there was one ballot dump that was 12,000 votes more than mathematically possible based on the increase of the percentage of votes counted, and it was that dump that put David Trone ahead of Neil Parrott.
I sent the creator the email address and phone number for MD Protect the Vote, and I will be emailing as well. We may not get the governor we want, but I'll be damned if the Dems steal Western MD again.
Same with my husband. I looked at him and simply said, "Until Trump decides to leave, it's his party. Period." He agreed, so on some level he is prepared for the ensuing battle, even if he only sees it as Trump v. DeSantis.
At a minimum want to move South, but West is definitely a viable option. Hubby is from the city and thought the suburbs would be far enough away. To be fair, for a long time it was. Now too much lunacy in encroaching on our red enclave.
I've been lurking the past few days because I knew anything I wrote would sound like dooming. My home state is fucking lost, not just because of the cheating, but because so many here are asleep. If Western MD ceceded and became part of WV I wouldn't blame them.
Because of hubby's job I can't leave, but I will do my best to keep waking people up, and I will move heaven and earth to protect my family. That said, it is getting harder and harder to live here.
Fellow Marylander here, although it sounds like from your sheriff choice you're in a different county than me. Peroutka for AG is solid, and of course Chaffee for Senate (though truthfully I think he won because there were a bunch of candidates and he was first alphabetically).
MD Board of Elections has the complete list of candidates here: https://elections.maryland.gov/elections/2022/general_candidates/index.html
Basically, it's vote red, but if your county's Board of Education is up for election this year, you need to dig into your school district's candidates because they do not list a party affiliation. Our county voted for Board of Ed in 2020, and our rep is a spitfire in a sea of dreck.
Praying hard for a Dan Cox upset!
I like your theory better than mine:
