Yep! I ended up in hospital for double pneumonia d/t covid.
I was originally seen at Billings ED. Everyone asked why I wasn't vaccinated. As I struggled breathing the ED Dr. Became belligerent yelling, “since I wasn't vaccinated, I was probably going to die.”
When I responded —why I wasn’t vaccinated He said he wasn't going to treat me and I was spreading disinformation. He changed his mind when I requested to be discharged..,
I ended up leaving against his wishes, but he wanted me to stay. At one point they tried to block the doors to the ER and weren’t going to allow me to leave until I started almost screaming, and then someone leaned over and said “let her out.”
I then went next-door to St Vincent where I was immediately placed on oxygen.
I want mention that he declined even the start of steroids, citing the treatment would spread the virus in the air.
Next door— One of the first things I got was steroids. However, They tried to get me to sign a DNR.
Eventually, I requested morphine, I am very sensitive to medication, and I take next to nothing however, (with our end-of-life patients morphine relaxes the airway and heart so they can breathe.)
There’s more that happened but they definitely didn’t value me, I believe wanted me dead…
I was one of four people who went in that weekend, and only myself came out the other three passed away.
