Flu was non-existent the past 2 years. Sending cold and flu into nursing homes or anywhere someone has a compromised immune system, will have a potential lethal effect. That is why the people that did die had typically over 4 co-morbidities.

It was easy for them to convince everyone, all they had to do was report on all the actual flu infections and deaths that occur every year. Then just tell everyone it was some new disease but with all the same symptoms.
