It was around February of 1981 when being questioned by Reagan that CIA Director William Casey said, "We'll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false". Interestingly, Reagan chose him. Many only realize the basics when they 'wake up', but I've been reading about deep state, behind the scenes type communities for decades. This is a basic propaganda control of masses utility that has been capitalized on for thousands of years in a variety of ways. Figurehead leaders have rarely, if ever, held the true power.
