As a gamer... This makes sense. The stores don't cater to PC gamers at all, and they don't have a lot that you would expect for handheld and console gaming. The merch could be interesting, but the selection they stock is insanely out of touch with things people want.

I don't want to see Gamestop go away, but I have been looking for the past couple years wondering how they are paying rent.

Looking well off or having photography gear is a good way to avoid attention from security and whatnot. It's likely they had travel expenses to get there too.

There's plenty to criticize, but normal standards kinda go out the window when its someone is willing to get in trouble for something like this. Less than $10k is an amount a lower middle class person can get together with credit cards or whatever.

Killing is bad. But I think it's kinda impresive this stuff doesn't happen more often with the fraud our legal system hasn't been good at handling lately.... Truly proof of the lawfulness of most people, and an example of why Q warned people not to get baited into taking justice into the own hands while things are being fixed over the course of years..

Edit: Just to clarify I think its sad the guy died, it means many bad things as well as a lost human life. If he did anything wrong (which I think is likely the case), I would want him personally and the company facing our legal system in a very serious way.

Remember the libs tring to insist that illegal immigration is needed for food production (of course *they *would like slave wages, awful)... Robots with decent AI will be replacing so many jobs in this sector, it's such a non-issue.

I know muliple people who got long term health issues after catching covid from a coworker that bragged about being quad-jabbed. I think once that cat got out of the bag, people were going to get long term damage whether or not they got the damn thing themselves.

Keep taking care of yourself with that stuff you mentioned fren, that's good work you're doing. And remember that with God it'll be okay: "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil." from Psalm 23.

I've suspected that a big part of the problem is not always the vaccines themselves, but the issues with production quality. They have very little reason to make the product properly as things are right now.

The people crying fake are so ridiculous that I've seen people who hate Trump questioning if its bot spam.

This is a good point. It's not just a vote for right and wrong, but also a vote of which side they feel personally safer with.

Yeah, this screams the judge wanted the headline more than anything else.

If such a thing had actually happened, she would have tried to get justice and recompense FOREVER ago.

"Nearly 5,000 Brits froze to death last year due to heating costs." – Thats "carbon reduction" for ya, it's sad so many people think the carbon they speak of is something other than human lives

Wow... This looks more blatant than the Wayfair stuff. I feel like this post should be stickied :v

I agree. Long covid is bs, but there are a lot of chronic illnesses that get worse or even onset entirely after a virus.

I have a chronic illness that's very limiting, but its very possible to have a happy marriage. She shouldn't blame him for bringing home a virus, life as usual has to be able take place without months of guilt tripping or it will drive people away.

We're setting aside a chunk for a spread of dividend stocks. That won't do us much good for "end of the world "situations, but it seems to do an okay job of scaling with inflation if you set the payouts to reinvest. I don't think it should be the only thing you do, but I'd say check it out and see if you would want to do some amount like that.

And some amount in trade-able things a survival situation, as even silver can't be eaten.

As much as I want to say people are boycotting, I think a large part of it their products are THAT bad.

We don't just disagree with them. Their values are just so bad that everything those values touch eventually rots, even a company with every advantage like Disney.

Musk tried to warn people years ago AI was insanely dangerous and recommended it be regulated.

Jumping on the boat to not get left behind isn't necessarily cheering on the need to do so.

Who the heck even followed those accounts? Surely mostly bots. Boring PR posts at best!
