Legalizing drugs wouldn't do a damn thing to stop organized narcotics crime. Because if drugs are legalized, they get taxed and people would rather stick with drugs they get from a shady dealer who gets them from the Sinaloa cartel because they're cheaper. The cartels do not pay taxes and neither do the shady dealers on the streets.
The cartel funds terrorism and human trafficking. This isn't about drugs this is about crimes against humanity.
