"You are partly correct, but the post isn't that bad! It's only that the main claim is one hundred percent wrong! It's just a straight up fabrication! But you? You are only partly correct. This post saying that a dead person wrote an article they didn't, resulting in people cheering someone else's death isn't that bad. I am rational!"

Former presidents are referred to as "President Whomever" by friendly parties all the time. Come on, this is embarrassing. Also funny in context with all the posts I saw saying that "McCarthy has given us zero concessions, he's definitely gonna lose!"

With a name like yours, I've got to trust you on this matter. You would know.

Should have reminded them. We've all got literal plastic in our brains and the entire culture has a minor case of ADD due to phone notifications. We do not have the brains or bodies that those who died in the 50s or 60s did.

Also, if you send invitations as an email, most services like Gmail and Outlook will use AI to offer the recipient to automatically put the event in their calendar for them. Of course, I recognize that this only increases a reliance on notifications for us to remember anything, but I still thought the functionality was worth mentioning.

Take some extras to a nearby homeless!

Source to three letters saying not to view the video?

Also, we are basically at the dawning of the era where "leaked video" can no longer be trusted. AI is getting too good, especially at mimicking common styles like "boardroom/congressional meeting", and that's just with what's publicly available. If it's a steady shot video, it's immediately suspect. And we're within ten, if not five years, of AI being able to create a convincing shaky handheld phone video.

Technologically, the last hundred or two years have been an historical aberration, one that is being self-corrected (in some ways) by the rapid increase of technology itself.

This screenshot is lies. Amazing how often people get away with that on this board. I mean, someone catches them, but by that time multiple people have already absorbed it as fact and moved on. The post usually stays up, and the correction rarely becomes the top comment.

Also, maybe anyone salivating at any regular person's death is goulish and divisive and only pleases those who prefer us divided over petty culture war issues

It means a weapon whose sole purpose and design principle is to kill humans efficiently. Pretty straightforward, I thought, but what do I know. This distinguishes an assault weapon from a multi-purpose weapon/tool, like a machete, hunting rifle, or axe.

Funnily, this also makes all those nuclear Extinction Ovals we keep laying around assault weapons, which I dunno, I would think we would be a bigger priority to make not exist than automatic rifles, but what do I know

Well, since "you" is a pronoun, that does work. You're just saying you only want to be referred to in the second person.

Y'all, it's just because it's the 7th day of the year, in a year when the numbers add up to seven. 7, as the first unstable prime, represents randomness, surprise, and chaos. This is an anti-proof being snuck in by the spiritual forces of Chaos. If you stand for Order, this is not the proof you are lucky for.

This is precisely what the Tankies have said about this exact issue, but with "deep state" traded out for "The West".

Idk what both y'all groups have against what to me seems the eminently reasonable position of "invasions are bad AND proxy wars are bad". Why does there always have to be someone who's in the right? That so rarely is the case for governments, that it seems insane to expect that.

Removing scanners could be done via ballot initiative. This Lake thing has run aground and has no hope. They put up a bad offense. Time to try a different tack, and not get all your money Cyber Ninja'd away again
