Same with the over-predictions of another big Hurricane season for 2022. Summer is almost over, and not one hurricane yet. This is very different from recent Hurricane seasons, which kept the news media very busy reporting the expected landfalls.
I wonder what substances this guy had in his system besides lots of alcohol, to cause this ending. The news media tends not to speculate about drug induced crimes, when it's not convenient to the neighborhood that it happened in. Regardless, it's still a tragic end to a night which could have easily have started out as a good time. (Not excusing his behavior)
It's about time, that people were publicly held responsible for things that went wrong, while they were on watch. Especially if they weren't fit for the job. From the article:

And I'll take a guess, that the start of the Covid enforced lockdowns, was the day that surprise text messages from the popular varsity football quarterback types looking to meet up after hours, started to dry up. And the cancellation of Prom night, probably threw a monkey wrench into at least a few fantasy plans of who the girls pictured themselves marrying.
Funny thought: If there was a fortune teller back in say the 1990's and they told us that they had visions of there being a number of supermarkets with Bill Gates' smirking face on them, but for some reason, they were burning down... No one would have believed any of it. Kek
Miami area (Broward county) is for the most part, a heavily built up area with the typical crimes of a city area. And reams of people have already left that area over the decades, for greener pastures north in Florida. Looks like DeSantis is taking the bull by the horns, to begin to clean that area up. Amen.
