Actively usurping the Office of the President, however, can't be defended against and if things go bad that's treason. The 25th Amendment is his Rubicon, and I don't think he's got the will to cross it.

Then let's say insurrection act is best Avenue. Power is transferred to Military from Potus and pence and everyone else become null. No power..once military mops up the mess power returns to Potus.

How do you know Trump hasn’t invoked the insurrection act already? Does not require public announcement other than request of insurgents to disperse, or go home.....which he has already done correct? It surely meant something and they knew it because that’s when his tweets got removed and account shutdown. Just saying....
It was very odd that his video called for peace and for them to disperse but was removed for inciting violence..
It was removed so they could say he ‘didn’t’ give the dispersal message; a requirement before invoking insurrection act of 1807.
That's sure the way it seemed. But technically he did give the message. If it was necessary to get it out he would of had other means. Ems definitely would of been appropriate for d.c.

What would happen, theoretically, if Pence DID invoke the 25th tonight. How would that change Q? It seems like it would be a very good counter move to being checked. The DS neeeds the 25th. I'd almost say, that Pence isn't a traitor if he just holds the line and doesn't invoke 25th to allow Q to execute as necessary.
