How is this hopium again? In this allegory the lions kingdom went to shit. So if the Lion kingdom is the US then we are about to lose everything and be overrun by hyenas.

Yeah I can see both viewpoints actually. My thought is its good. Biden "won" in November. For three months evil has essentially ruled the country illegitimately, and now the good king (Trump) is poised to take back over.

In the movie, a lion called Scar murders his brother, Mufasa, who is the Lion King. He makes Mufasa's young son/cub Simba (who is the heir) believe it's his fault he died, and Simba runs away in shame from the kingdom. Scar then takes over the kingdom and it is overrun by his henchmen, the hyenas and the lions suffer while also falsely led to believe that Simba murdered Mufasa. Year later, Simba, who is now grown, returns and fights Scar and wins. Glory is restored to the kingdom, the hyenas are scared away and Simba is the Lion King.

Maintaining that story line, he left out the part where, for yrs, Scar was king. It takes at least 4 yrs for a young male lion to mature, after being kicked out of the pride, to be at the point he can challenge the king.
I have Faith that this will all get fixed, but this post actually has me a little more than "slightly" on edge.
Reminder that when the Pride Lands fell into disarray Simba came back to stop Scar and restored the land to its former glory.
