Who to trust?
?️ DISCUSSION ?
I have a business. I have a family. I really want to disconnect from politics yet trust someone to tell me what to do politically. Is that even possible? I just can't continue checking so many sources trying to figure out what is what.
So who do you trust?
Loyalty is a rare quality. Just ask Donald Trump. Few people are there whenever you call on them and will tell you the truth even when it is hard to hear.
We need to realize that there are people we can trust, but it always ends up going through God. Find a Catholic/Christian/ group near you and join. It takes time, im not happy with my current Parish but I don't have too many other options where I am, and at least I can practice the Sacraments. My advice is be blunt about it. If you're meeting someone new let them know. I love God, my country, and these are my convictions. Its hard but that weeds out so much unnecessary time and emotions. Either they are on board or you can move on. Good luck and God Bless.
We and God are always here for you.
Ask this other guy bashing Sacraments and the Mother of the Lord - do you want him to bad mouth your mama?- to explain a 500 year old tilma in Guadeloupe. Or Fatima or Lourdes or the thousands of other Saints the first 1500 years before division. I bet he likes to just skim over John 6 as well. And "confess his sins directly to God"
No and no.

That’s inaccurately legalistic interpretation of the sacraments to accuse them of being legalistic.
We call that a “straw man”
The answer is, no, if you lose access to the sacraments and it’s outside of your control, you will not go to hell.
Carholic church is Thyatira, prophetically:
“To the angel of the church in Thyatira write: These are the words of the Son of God, whose eyes are like blazing fire and whose feet are like burnished bronze. I know your deeds, your love and faith, your service and perseverance, and that you are now doing more than you did at first. Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols. I have given her time to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling. So I will cast her on a bed of suffering, and I will make those who commit adultery with her suffer intensely, unless they repent of her ways. I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am he who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds. Now I say to the rest of you in Thyatira, to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets, ‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’ Revelation 2:18-25 NIV
https://bible.com/bible/111/rev.2.18-25.NIV
He replied, “Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written: “ ‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules.’ You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to human traditions.” Mark 7:6-8 NIV

Sacraments is legalism, Jesus hates legalism. Mary is NOT to be prayed to. Purgatory is a complete lie with zero backing of Scripture. The Pope is the false prophet of the book of Revelation. Catholicism is NOT a Jesus and grace heavy path. It is hard to be Catholic and actually worship Jesus. Few Catholics will make the Harpazo (the Rapture).
The caveat, you need to know how to live with yourself.
Learn that first, then learn how to assess life, then you will find your equilibrium.
Accept all, trust few, find yourself, accept those who understand you as you are, not as you are for them to see.
Agreed HC.
Cut them out from your inner circle sure. However, engage and be polite especially those with opposing viewpoints. Cuz you can bet your bottom dollar they ain’t getting feedback from their friends. One of my friends is completely opposite of me. He thinks Trump is the devil reincarnated. Regardless it doesn’t affect our friendship. Just have heated debates that’s all. Don’t shun your political opponents. Engage if at all possible.
Man......this hits the nail square on the head. It applies, exactly, to my life in this moment as well. I seem to be the single person in my relatively large friend group who has done the Q research for myself and, as a result, gone down some really dark rabbit holes because of it. Now the contrast in opinion and ideals between myself and literally all of them hasn’t ever been larger.
I use my brain, common sense, and very healthy dose of skepticism when considering what is truth and reality. They use cable news and NPR.
And because I have a differing opinion, and supported our POTUS, I am viewed by them as a crazed ultra-mecha-nationalist and maybe worse if you asked them directly and kept me out of the loop.
I have disconnected from them as of late, which sucks because I’ve known them and been friends with them for the last 30 years.
And it’s amazing to me because they are all intelligent people, so what’s happened to them is an excellent example of the power of persuasion and the intentional media conditioning that’s happening everywhere.
And then recently I turned back into my faith and spirituality, and reconnected with God. I turned back into my marriage (which has been rocky for a while because my selfishness and ego had led me down an extremely unhealthy path) and things between us are amazingly good. I started looking inward, and have found otherwise unusual serenity and have embraced all of it.
I was watching a video earlier today and they made the comment that TV is really "Tell-a-vision." The question is, whose vision?
If you want to go down a rabbit hole, go see who the original top dogs of the early MSM were. If memory serves, they were mostly from the intelligence community of the time.
The documentary is called Out of Shadows and covers a good bit of the canals activities thru the hollywood pedo angle from a couple insiders who started poking around.
My friend has two PhD’s and I didn’t even finish high school. People are so invested into their global climate / warming beliefs anyone who challenges that narrative is a false prophet who must be dealt with.
Logical thinking yes but why can’t they look beyond logical thinking and assume their logical conclusions were made based on some assumptions of the way the economy and political structure work. If the latter two are completely bogus then wouldn’t that also shatter their logical conclusions they’ve made over their lifetime?
I’m gonna try a new tactic. Gonna pretend to agree with what they say and see how ridiculous we can go down fictional land. Not sure what else to try.
Glad your marriage is improving. Life is a trip. No drugs required.
I am turning to God. 1st time in my life-44
I trust my dogs. That’s about it. My circle of trust among humans gets smaller every day.
I trust my pup too, he never lets me down and he's always happy to see me.
Man ur dogs sneak out every night when u sleep and parting and doing all sorts of things. Haja just playing I know exactly it feeling my dogs r my everything
Amen to that.
Don’t trust anything, the first step to wisdom.
Fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. Just sayin
Why fear? God is Love. Satan is fear. Fear is the mind killer.
Reference to “fear of the Lord” is from Proverbs 1:7. Meaning of fear in this context is closer to “reverence” than to be afraid. Hope that helps. Here’s the entire verse: “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction.” Proverbs 1:7 NKJV
Fear of God is proper. It IS the beginning of wisdom. But there are many further steps. St. Anthony of the desert’s famous quote: “I used to fear God but now I love him.” Theosis, the union of God and man, is the goal of human existence. Peak religious experience can be knowing the love of God directly. This is life changing. Relationships with people are not as fulfilling, but of course, we have them, as we are social beings. Trust is for God, not so much for people. Hermits can be very happy. Can you be alone and be joyful? Well, if you have dogs, that is. They are pure love, no?? People are what they are. Much pain over their not being what we want them to be. Ask and you shall receive. Do you want God to show himself to you? Are you sure? He will make you more like Him.
I don't think the relationship was ever different. It's been the same- well different for each of us.
I believe in an honest relationship. When I am mad at God I tell Him. When I disagree with something, He knows it. I don't care about blasphemy or any of the usual "fear" porn because if God is all powerful then He's not gonna be hurt by some dumb joke from people who don't understand. I am secure in my faith that I don't care if people make fun of me or God. In fact, I encourage it. Get your truths out there and maybe He'll find you there...
To quote the band Iona, "Here I kneel upon this ground. Love can heal when truth is found."
I have found when I am honest I get peace. I even sometimes get answers. But I do not agree with everything He has done or plans to do, but that's okay. I don't have to. And neither do you.
My relationship with God is not the same as yours. It may have similarities, but will never be exact.
I mean letting kids die of cancer when He supposedly has the power to override is a problem for me. Same with many potential believers who quit believing or never even bothered. I mean cancer is bad enough, but kids getting it and prayers doing fuck all to stop it most times? Yeah it's a wonder people don't believe in magical sky daddy...
Fear is an irrational and primal reaction that usually comes about because of a lack of knowledge or wisdom; not as a sign of it.
God. A loving, merciful God. So much so that He had His son, Jesus, a part of Himself, manifest into flesh and endure persecution, ridicule, pure agony for the sake of all of us. If we believe in Him, this crappy husk that we’re forced to lug around, will be shed... We can too, have an incorruptible body, just like Christ!!!
I trust myself.
Don't look for someone to tell you what to do. Educate yourself. And form your own opinions/plan
Trusting others to think for us is what got us into this mess in the first place, fren.
Freedom isn't free. It comes with a cost.
Bingo. I was going to post this. The only thing, beside God, more important than ensuring our immediate needs for nourishment & shelter is to ensure the future is preserved for the next generation. If one has time to watch a movie or sports, they have time to be informed.
I totally agree, fren!
This is the kind of thinking that brought us the deep state in the first place
He shouldn't.
I think he meant Jim Jordan.
I feel like we did trust in Trumps plan. It wasn't to watch evil for 4 years continue to happen, now get 4 more years of unfettered evil, then hope Trump can fix it next time around. I didn't sign up for that. I trust in Trump but if this evil is going to continue and get bolder for the next for years, I need to take the blue pill and go back to sleep for my sanity.
I disagree about Trump’s kids. Don Jr is great for redpilling normies, but he’s a Zionist shill. Same with Ivanka and Kushner, who both did more to undermine Trump than many of his opponents.
Eric seems pretty based and from what I’ve read, Tiffany is the most conservative of the bunch.
I trust Don Jr for news, but his policy views are fucked up being associated with Ivanka, Kushner, and Charlie Cuck.
God
And the best part is you don't even have to trust Him all that much. You can tell Him directly "I don't trust this or like this at all" and He'll STILL fulfill you with peace...
Trust no one. Use your intellect. Study, learn.
Absolutely.
I may say trust few, but beyond your circle of trust, it needs to be earned.
This fact should not be feared. They are searching too, but you are outside of their circle.
Be solid to yourself and your faith. Understand what you've learned.
Use what you've learned to find who you can trust.
The Holy Spirit.
If you want to live in a self-governing constitutional democratic republic, then you have to be involved politically.
I too used to chose to be uninformed, rather than misinformed, for years until 2020. Now I realize that I cannot do that, or evil people will take over. I used to believe that if evil people got into public office, that the constitution is the final fail safe to protect me, but that was an ignorant opinion to have.
Lessons learned the hard way.
You either get to live in not-so-blissful ignorance under tyranny and you become politically active in a self-governed society.
I know it sucks, and require time and energy, but you have to do it buddy, or you get the shit show sitting in DC right now.
teach a family member how to read EOs, scientific papers and scour live feeds/streams. give him or her a list of social media people to follow. once they’re proficient split the load 50/50, then each teach 1 more family member. when they’re proficient split the load 25, 25, 25, 25. etc etc until your family is based and stays connected through sharing meaningful information. you’re welcome
When I was younger I trusted my parents. But then came Santa and the Tooth Fairy. Don’t trust you parents. (Shitpost).
I trust my instincts.
Trust God - he will speak to you. Your gut will tell you whats correct, when you put your faith in Him!
I trust Trump and Governor DeSantis, at this point. I also feel like the people in congress that spoke up for President Trump on the 6th are trustworthy.
I’d say the least you could do is vote in all elections and GOP/MAGA primaries and see which ones stand for God and freedom.
Trust yourself.
That's the best you can do.
Trust God and the common sense He gave you.
Just assume the exact opposite of whatever Brian Stelter says and you'll be fine.
Those who tell it like it is no matter the cost to themselves. Enter Sidney Powell.
I saw a post at tdw before it went doomerville and this is what it said:
Here is a list of the people I trust in Washington:
President Donald Trump. The end.
I thought it was both fitting and hilarious. Unfortunately, he is not there (or is he?) so it's hard to know who to trust. As others have said, trust God (if you don't know God, get to know Him asap. It will help you keep your sanity. -- Just say a simple prayer in your own words, along these lines. Be sincere. No mockery. 'Dear God, if you exist, I want to know you. I want to know the truth. Please reveal yourself to me.' Follow His prompting. Then find yourself a good bible believing church and start attending regularly. If churches in your area are prevented from meeting due to covid, look on line for videos being posted from local churches all around the country and even world. Check out Joseph Prince, who has a megachurch in Singapore and is very gifted in teaching scripture, imo.
Why am I saying all that? Because ultimately, God is more important than our politics and will help you stay focused and sane during crazy times.
As for politics, you have to use discernment there, just like with your real life relationships. Some people you like and trust, some people you can't stand and wouldn't trust them as far as you can throw them. But start at the top. Do you still trust Trump? What about Pompeo? What about Flynn? And from there, go into the private sector. Do you trust Rudy? Sydney? Even if those are the only people you trust, you've got a starting point. I know it's not easy, friend, and if you figure out a better plan on how to trust sources, please do let us all know! Best wishes.
no one. trust no one but yourself.
Came to say this but stayed to give different advice since you already covered the essentials.
Just the News American Thinker The Federalist Town Hall
I hit return between sites. Ran together instead. You’ll figger it out.
President Trump.
Politically, I trust Trump. I don’t know what to make of some milops group I know little of. I trust Trump wouldn’t step away like he has unless he’s coming back with the counter punch of the century.
Beyond politics, God. The world is of his creation, in the end he always wins.
I trust God Myself and Donald Trump. In that order.
Trust Christ. in him all else will be revealed.

God. He’s the only one I trust with all that I have, all that I am, in all things, at all times. And I tell Him multiple times a day.
But seriously, please don’t think you can just disconnect from something and rely on some human to tell you how to think or what to believe.
Is that not unspoken rule no. one?!
