It's weird, because I've known two people who are well within the riskiest areas that have survived with basically minor symptoms. My grandma is 80 with COPD and heart issues and she barely even felt covid
This thing rarely kills anybody, unless they're gravely ill or very unlucky. So what makes it different from the flu?
My sentiments exactly. I don't know anyone that it's killed... I've heard about it, but haven't experienced it personally. All the people I know that had it kicked its ass.
But I'm supposed to put my personal experience aside and treat this thing like Ebola? LOL no that's not how this works. It's like people looking up at the sky and calling the moon a foreign space invader... And I'm like, no, that's just the moon and you calling it a space invader is not going to make me go home and lock myself in my house and be fearful of my life. It's just the fucking moon!
I had a friend who was in his 80s who died of it but was a very healthy and active guy. I think they probably killed him somehow because they immediately put him on a ventilator and sedated him. After a couple months they said he wouldn't survive without a ventilator, he wasn't getting better or worse, and they needed the space for other patients, so they pulled the plug while he was sedated. I'm actually quite infuriated at it all, but here in PA they've done that to a lot of elderly I guess.
This is going to get ugly if the Military doesn‘t step in. I am peaceful, but can‘t imagine people who will lose everything just staying at home and watching their livelihood destroyed by criminals.
For anyone in California, as bad as it is there, there are always places that have it worse.
For example, in Canada, for a similar situation (restaurant in Toronto that wanted to stay open), they didn't shut off the power. They sent an army of cops, the likes I have never seen (I saw it in the papers, not in person) just to shutdown 1 guy's restaurant. They don't send that many cops for multiple homicides.
Also, they are keeping a pastor in jail and refusing him bail in Canada as well. They guy is basically a political prisoner. This is Canada for you.

Never been happier for my 2 duis. 1 would have pleased me to possibly keep me out but now I know they would never let me in and that's fucking magical.
They shouldn't have the right to do that. Hopefully they are able to sue. Given how their governor is getting re-called, it seems like the lockdowns are not all that popular in California so they may be able to prevail in a lawsuit.
This wasn't the state of California doing this, despite what the headline of the article states. It's Burbank, a suburb of Los Angeles. Don't get me wrong, the sate government sucks, but LA county takes the cake.
a lawsuit that will financially finish off these business owners. maybe they win in court but then they are broke. These communists are destroying our country
Kinda like the see eye A with their 26 ways til Sunday to git ya.
It’s hard to be a restaurant owner, just normally.
Bravo for making a stand to throw off these chains
Nosey tattletale faggots (the same who would have said ‘Anne Frank is up there’ “ )
How many people ate here or just didn’t care compared to the “dozen” complaints? Stop letting the minority rule, there is a reason they are the minority.
This is the shit we need right now!!! EVERYBODY needs to stand up, and if you can't do it for yourself, do it for them; or any others with the courage to fight back. We will not take back our country though compliance or inaction
Claiming to save lives as they destroy them....
Break out the tar and feathers.
Saving Grandma is worth ruining young, healthy, productive lives in the process.

I know of one person that died from it but I know of many who had it and just got muscle aches, or lost smell and taste for a month.
My friend who lost his taste would gross out his girlfriend by eating disgusting combinations of food like yogurt on pizza or ketchup on ice cream xD
LOL!!!
It is the flu probably since there are no longer flu cases.
I know a 90yr old woman on oxygen and she had zero symptoms. Only got tested because her home health nurse tested positive.

Apparently they’ve been blowing out people’s lungs with the ventilators. That is sadly what probably happened to your friend.
That's because it was just the cold.
And they didn't even save grandma, they murdered her in a COVID infested nursing home by weaponizing effective medications by their suppression.

When you read the history books you think the citizens were so cruel to tar and feather the government. Now I totally get it.
Bring back flogging!
Yeah. Tar and feather corrupt politicians - love it.
I keep thinking of the movie "1900" and how the local peasants chased down and ran pitchforks into the local pols.
