Why aren't people who have had COVID-19 and recovered recognized and acknowledged as immune? In fact, the powers that be have gone out of their way to imply that recovering from COVID doesn't make you immune - which was easily proven false.
I have no interest in being tested for immunity, but we aren't even hearing anything about those who have recovered. And the goal posts just keep moving- the latest is signs in stores saying "Vaccinated or not, masks and social distancing are required in this store." I'm so over it. There is no way I'm giving in to this nonsense. I'm buying another gun.
So much of it makes no sense, it's amazing to see the sheep rush to get in line. It's a bit sad.
I've been stocking up on survival food, canned stuff, even TP, lol. Can never have enough ammo or guns. Hope to see all you Frens on the other side of this.

Something to consider if there really were to be a release of a new pathogen than is only deadly to the vaxxed. You really cant go wrong with a Ruger Mk.IV The Mk# series are staples in the .22 world. Very solid gun. Walther also makes a P-22 and it is a great gun too. Probably more suited to smaller hands than the Ruger. Very comfortable grip.

I think a long gun leaves less of a chance of accidents.... I'm sure you could still find an old pumpgun in 22 or leveraction something with a bit of flare LULz.. Ruger also makes a 5.7 it's like a 9mm fucked a 22 and the result is high velocity armor piercing, ammo is a bit more expensive maybe look about for a p90 Aboy might enjoy that
Seconded, I picked up a sweet used MKIII target (fancy grip, thicc bull barrel acting as a compensator) and have used it a few times introducing total noobs to safely operate firearms with great success.
The 'slide' being straight out the back of the bore is a little odd from normal semi auto pistols but the mechanics are essentially the same.
The MkIII target model with the bull barrel is the one my dad has. Super easy shooter, nice and heavy and solid.
In the UK they are allowed to have crossbows.

Oh yeah a pistol caliber carbine (pcc) is also a great training tool for newer shooters but the ceiling is as high as you want to train, really. Rifle/subgunformat, pistol caliber recoil in rifle/subgun format.
Classic firearms has been carrying a few new lines of them following the ar-15 model (Angstadt, iirc), which is great considering the amount of customization available to the platform. CMMG makes the best one in that platform IMO, but they're pretty hard to find (called the 'Banshee' line) but not impossible.
Depending on your budget, you could also pick up an MP5/clone. This is what I have, and it's like cheating. Red dot on target? Pull trigger, round is exactly where you were pointing. Everyone I've let shoot it can hit vitals with follow up shots easily. Suppressing it is even crazier; it's like aim hacks irl — so easy to shoot it actually gets boring unless you're training techniques around it!

A modern crossbow is pretty lethal and you can make your own ammo.

Yes. I had it in January 2020, before COVID was supposedly here. 103 fever for three days, then 99.5 for five weeks. Short of breath the whole time - I used a nebulizer once or twice a day through the whole thing. Finally went to the dr. who diagnosed me with severe bronchitis and severe sinusitis (we didn't know about COVID yet). On my next visit months later, I asked her if she thought what I had was COVID, and she said yes, definitely. It went all through this community that month, so I suspect we all had created a herd immunity long before it really got going in the Lower 48 states. No lasting effects , thankfully.
COVID was probably here in the US a month or two before it was "officially" here in January 2020.

COVID is an amazing pathogen. It defies all physics and biology as we understand.
It literally has eliminated many other contagions and health issues - obesity, diabetes, the Flu, heart disease, physical trauma are just a few of the health issues that are no longer issues that the public has to concern themselves with.
It doesn’t affect people who are rioting, apparently is far worse at hunting people down in restaurants, gyms, theaters, places of worship and peaceful get together. It cannot pass through masks that allow much larger smoke particles to pass through, and even can be spread to yourself when driving a car, unless of course you are wearing a mask. It also apparently is most active after 10pm at night.
And, even though the majority of people need to be tested to know they had or have it, and it can be treated therapeutically with well understood treatments that have been proven and have limited side effects, it is imperative that we all take a new type of inoculation that has limited real world testing, and has shown major adverse reactions and deaths.

Husband and I both had the rona and were told by the county health department that "you should have immunity for 3 to 4 months"...actually, I believe I had it twice last year, March and then November...not quite as bad the second time....no test in March, but same same same.....so I will just hold onto my built up immunity...not getting in line for the jab, but I think a person can get it multiple times as one could other colds and flus.

In Denmark they have just introduced the "corona passport", that you eg have to show in order to get a friggin haircut! The pass indicates if you got the jabs, if you have been tested recently, or if you have had COVID-19.
But get this, they are now telling us that the natural immunization only lasts 12 weeks, and we are then supposed to believe that the jab gives 6 months "freedom"?
Yes, I was talking to a girl a couple weeks ago that had recently had CV. The doctors told her that she would be immune from it for 90 days?!? She had made a joke about being immune for another month, and I asked her about it. Not sure what happens on day 91, I guess your immune system just forgets, lol.
The "experts" really seem to be making stuff up as they go, but I guess with so many people already having it & recovering, they have to make up the short immunity so more people will get the jab.
I am pissed off though, because I found out this weekend that my parents got the shots. My mom (who follows Q and all the conspiracy stuff) said she just want to be able to go back to normal. And then she said, well Trump said he got the vax too. They just started seeing a new doctor, and I have a feeling he emotionally manipulated them into it. I am really sad and angry at the same time, I just hope it doesn't kill them, but no one knows what will happen. And my mom said they have to get the "booster" in 6 months. uggghhh.
