You're better off without them in the long run. I'm older but also surrounded by blue (although in a red state thank God). We are strongly considering moving because I don't want my kids getting brainwashed. With that said, someone has to stay and fight their narrative.

Oof. That's always been my motto: "Buck up and deal with it". I'm sure I'd have "dEpReSsIoN" by their standards too (am college student), but you don't see me complaining either. The worst part is that most of them just wanna use it as a crutch and an excuse to be the failure that they already are.

yea I've been steadily losing faith in the medical field for YEARS, way before the coof and even longer before I stumbled across all of this.

My dad's the same way. He's got that genetic dEpReSsIoN stuff, hated his job and was miserable for 20 years (everything's since been completely turned around in the last year, we thank God for that), but he never complained. He just dealt with it. You know, what used to be called 'normal'

Yeah I'm seriously scared for my daughter when she gets to school age. I'm already looking into homeschooling and finding the best ways to teach her life skills. I have a couple more years to really find the best way. But with everything thats been going on I'm starting to feel like it will be my only option.

Just wanted to say that I think you would do fine as a teacher too. I think the best teacher for any child is his/her parents (I mean your mom would be great too, but I just mean don’t underestimate your own skills to be a good teacher). Whether or not you’re a “teacher,” I think any parent knows their child best. I say this as a formally educated teacher, and whose mom homeschooled me despite the fact she was not formally educated as a teacher. A lot of it is self-guided learning, you’re just more like a mentor. You don’t have to know all the answers, you just have to know where to look to find the answers when you or your child get stuck. I believe education should be more about learning how to learn, than just memorizing certain facts. There’s a reason homeschooled students tend to do well in post-secondary. We learned how to learn and how to think independently. :) Just wanted to offer some encouragement. You could definitely teach and then you would have your mom to ask questions when needed. (Also, just as a side note, I feel like it’s not a coincidence that I, the homeschooled one, am here on GA and my husband, who went through the school system, is not and refuses to accept anything not from the MSM.)

Homeschooling or private/charter schooling (preferably church affiliated) are the ONLY options I'd pick. I was VERY fortunate to attend grade school and high school in small-town Kansas, and I had some very conservative and patriotic teachers. Most people are not that lucky. I only graduated a couple years ago but from what I hear the teaching quality has already drastically gone downhill since then lol.

Yeah thats where I'm at in my thinking. However I want to be very careful with private schooling too. I NEED to make sure they are teaching the right things. Like I said I am very glad I still have a couple years to really research the ones available to me.

Homeschool and start teaching life skills from birth. The first three years are very, very important in developing their brains. Even a two year old can help with making cookies, learning how to pour ingredients, two for you and two for me games, loading and unloading the laundry and learning which buttons make things run or stop, tearing of one sheet of paper towel, personal hygiene, setting a table, wiping down a countertop. They learn coordination, balance, self-reliance, helping others, what works and what doesn't. Everything that can be reached and is safe is fair game. It's a wonderful experience to watch a young mind make connections to cause and effect and to bonding ever deeper with you!

I actually do most of that with her now! So that makes me feel much better about my choices! I'm a huge fan of climb on a chair help mama with dishes... sweep the floor with me. Cooking I pick her up and let her see me stirring the food. As she gets a bit bigger she will for sure get to do more. But she loves it! And absolutely loves hearing great job! High 5! It is literally my joy to see her pick up her own clothes and put them in the laundry basket. She wants to help and learn everything I do! Sometimes the things we just do everyday we don't realize how much we actually teach our kids. And to me confidence in learning new things is so important! You just made me realize I'm doing a pretty good job!! So thank you for that!!

Good job, Momma. You're so blessed. They love to be a "helper". I also focus more on the idea that THEY accomplish a task and learned something new. I discuss how they just built upon something they already knew, and learning is so fun, than on the "helper" part. Keep up your enthusiasm. You have the most important job in your child's world.

Good for you!

We all go through some form of depression throughout our lives, it’s part of the human condition. I’d say the question is, what is the opposite of ‘depression’ ? Is it just not-depressed? Or is it Happiness?

If you think about it, how can one be ‘happy’ when you do not understand sadness?

Brainwashed by MSM/Education/Hollywood, damaged by drugs, alcohol, vaccines. Also contaminated spiritually by sin, promiscuity, depravity.

Solution:

  • Repent of your sins
  • Accept Jesus Christ and follow His commandments
  • Read your Bible
  • Stop watching TV
  • Think for yourself

Excellent advice! I can attest that it works. Went through some very dark times in my youth. Scary dark.

My faith has saved me! I enjoy every bit of my life now, my relationships are heathy, my marriage is strong. I struggle with some things like everyone does, but looking to God for strength and forgiveness helps to re-center and refocus my life.

I think the worst thing TV ever did was to bombard us with prescription drug ads. It leads people to think that all they need is the right magic pill to fill that void in their lives. I bet a surprising percentage of our population is over medicated.

I have a very intelligent cousin who was Conservative growing up- grew up with a normal, if not too passive mom, and a weird dad who thought he wss smarter and better than our family. He went to college, did who knows what, according to his debased desires, married a progressive woman and now is a "woman" himself. Many in my family are stunned and saddened. I know it's par for the course for those people. They try to justify their lifestyles by putting it off on us, saying Jesus would approve or we shouldn't judge them for it and twisting Bible scripture to fit their degeneracy, which takes some humongous leaps gymnastically. It's sickening. It's gross. All we can do is pray for the lost.

All my girl college friends were liberals (now crazy leftists) and they ALL have massive TDS. One is a fat ugly lesbian, another is a twig ginger with a fetish for hating her own skin color, another is a land whale who LOVED Obama, another is a vaccine hoarder, and another is a half-Peruvian half-Chinese tiny girl who tries to get attention by "committing" suicide and has a new child with a new guy and then marries him once every year and a half.

I got so sick being around these idiots that I ghosted myself from that group. Tried to talk to the ginger twig to get her to see the hypocrisy surrounding Biden's EOs but she blocked me, and I haven't talked to the suicide girl since she defended the murder of a white girl by an illegal in Iowa because some white man out in Colorado killed his family (totally unrelated crimes, but in her pea-brain she figured that if a white man can kill his family then an illegal can kill a white girl). UGH.

So, this is just my humble opinion... but I fully believe that the “science” is so set on labeling every single little thing and finding “problems” so they can prescribe “solutions” that if every single person were to start seeking professional opinions, nearly everyone would be diagnosed/labeled with SOMETHING.

I personally think more young liberals get diagnosed because they’re LOOKING for something to be wrong with them, and someone to tell them that they’re a special snowflake that needs to be catered too. They’re being fed the narrative that being damaged makes you more interesting/important.

Most of us know our flaws, handle our carry-on baggage on our own, and don’t ever give them a chance to diagnose us with some BS.

Most of the libs i know have mental health problems it is amazing to see how much of their beliefs are based on whatever they are told day to day with no ability to think for themselves or they are too scared to speak out because their image is more important than the truth.

The true danger here is the sheer volume of 'psychologists' and 'therapists' assigning wild mental/psychological maladies to normal, confused adolescents. Instead of working through the issues as competent adult guidance, the nutty social workers just throw down on crazy with the kids! Perhaps it's not so much the neurotic youth are actually afflicted with all these made-up conditions. Perhaps the aggressive psychologists are simply convincing these kids they are afflicted and give them guidelines for acting out the symptoms.

The sad part is schools government and the legal system created a lot of this mental illness. Mostly by enforcing believe this but do this. Feel this but follow this. They are systematically screwing up our kids and youth creating so much trauma most dont know what to do with the information. So they follow along with the "easiest path" they have been working ages for this exact thing to happen. Sadly as much as I want to smack people and say wake up!!!! I also understand how it happened. They are literally ticking time bombs of pent up anger confusion and defiance. The wrong team got their forks in. Waking them up is going to be a full time job for a very long time. But consistent honesty and pushing to research for themselves will prevail I do believe. Never stop having that conversation. It is working!!!

I would venture to guess the other 54% aren't in good mental health, but simply undiagnosed.

My step son is similar. Raised by a gospel teaching momma. He was based and involved with teaching youth groups. He went to NIU, and all down hill after that. His GF is considered a “They” and he know suffers from CHS, which is crazy horrible marijuana syndrome. He absorbs msm like candy and red pilling him is next to impossible.
