The Red Counties tend to be in the eastern part of the state. Beautiful old mountains, great people, no income tax, and starting July 1 we have a Constitutional Carry law.

When my wife worked at a chain restaurant in Memphis, corporate put out that they were never to suggest Beale St. to the tourists because of the high crime. Also, isn't Lynchburg in a dry county.
They outlawed guns on Beale St because of all the shootings. Now there are stabbings.
Been to Memphis once and boy is it a cesspit. It sucks because it’s a beautiful city with a lot of history. Now all the gas stations have cages, and no one stops for the red lights. It’s a lawless place

That said, the Barrett is one hell of a rifle.

I'm well aware of who Ronnie Barrett is, and the company itself that he founded. It is indeed a great company. My point however is that the government should never be in the practice of picking favorites in the world of private business. At least when it comes to picking between American companies. That's how we get situations like Solyndra.

A lot of states adopt a firearm. It’s more to honor a state resident who invented a gun. It doesn’t carry any implied endorsements. And if it did; I would be fine with that state promoting a company within that state to buy firearms from. American made is great, local is even better

Lol I was discussing our new awesome firearm laws here iny 2A sanctuary state with one of our LEOs he recommended an AR nine pistol for me. I think the one in the picture would knock my little ass back into last year.

I did learn something interesting, apparently my state was the first to make a state symbol, the Mistletoe being the state flower. I'm gonna need to fact check this though
