I don't know about everyone else, but I'm certainly capable of being aware of multiple things at once. No one here is going to forget the importance of the ongoing audit, but to act like it is the most important thing in the world, is a bit over the top.
If it's between staring at audit streams, having dinner with the family, studying philosophy / theology / etc., worshipping, resting, contemplating the mysteries, or enjoying a cigar outside alone or with company -- I'm not choosing the former -- and I would encourage everyone else to do the same.
