My response was essentially, "I can do it, but we will need to explain why we are going against CDC guidelines or else I see a mass problem on our hands. Can you get that reasoning for me so I can share it?"
A few hours later, the request for the memo was rescinded. Big win in my book.
They just announced that at the office you can stop wearing a mask if you provide a scan of your vax card and like Amazon you have to put this little sticker on your namebadge. I anonymously sent them the story of the IKEA that got a "poor reaction" to their certain yellow stickers last week, let's see if there's a memo about it.
I don't work in an office, but if they tried to pull this shit, I swear to god, I'd be filing a lawsuit. They cannot force you to disclose your medical history. At a minimum, they would need to make reasonable accommodations so you can continue to work there without disclosing or getting an experimental vaccine.
Fuck these pieces of shit.

The threat of being in violation of some aspect of HIPPA or other employee privacy regulations are usually enough to get an employer to back off. They take the threat of civil lawsuits seriously as well. Most employers only want to be in compliance with what is legally required for them to do and stay out of the court system. Employers for the most part, are just as confused as the general public as to the difference between what they are legally compelled to do and what they are is just recommended to do. This veil of confusion is rampant in the workplace and is deliberate. Often, when and employer has a clearer understanding of exactly where that line is, they can make better decisions and not cause so much disruption among their employees. They just want to avoid lawsuits and state OSHA regulators. Given legal loopholes most employers will opt to take them. Once they understand they are not compelled to any of this crap, they probably won't - that is of course unless the employer is part of the wokies.
Agreed. The problem is most Big companies have HR departments filled with loony socialists that have turned them into woke zones. Leftists used HR to infiltrate corporate America very successfully.
It's illegal for your employer to ask for you private medical information. It's in violation of HIPAA, which is a federal law. Maybe you should pass that on to your employer.
Yep even government employees they are saying you cant ask for vaccine info.
Can confirm, - even in Commiefornia. I'm a state worker, and they cannot ask, or require proof of vax.
You can see that they wish they could. My business would love to make masks and vaccines mandatory. But they aren’t, and they can’t, and they know it.
The problem is when employers make everyone wear a mask UNLESS they prove they aren't vaccinated. So they aren't exactly forcing you to give your health information to them...but there is HUGH incentive and pressure to do it or get the injection.
Or better yet, finagle it so they ask you in writing for a scan of your card, then take that evidence to an attorney so it doesn't become a "well, it was a suggestion, not a demand" type situation.
I have worked in this area. Vaxination records can be requested by an employer only if being vaxed is within the scope of employment - like in health care settings. Those records cannot be made available without expressed written authorization by the employee to make their vaxine status known. All vaxine records must be kept in a secure place that cannot be accessed by just anyone. This is not part of HIPPA but a company can be in violation of other state employment regulations if an employee's vaxine status is made known without written consent of the employee. Not only are they in violation for releasing personal medical information without consent, but they can also be sued in civil court for violating a employee's privacy.
Companies right now are caving to public pressures without knowing what the laws are in this area. Like the rest of the general public, they must be educated and reminded of what the laws are regarding employee medical records.
Exactly. Some may be 'requiring' it out of ignorance of the law (which is actually pretty inexcusable) or they may just be trying to force it on you and hope YOU are ignorant of the law. People seriously need to start suing.
Why do we need to pass a physical for so many jobs? Also teacher friends i have all had to submit negative tuberculosis and covid tests.
If OTHER people's vaxes work, YOUR status should be of no concern because you would not be a threat to them. BUT that conclusion would require LOGICAL THINKING, something of which few people seem to be capable.
I agree whole heartedly. But the HIPAA route is already squashed when schools require vaccines for children to enroll, and some jobs require testing and vaccination as well.
Only difference is these chemical shots aren't FDA approved yet.
Jobs absolutely can require vaccine records. Now for an experimental “vaccine” I doubt that’s the case.
That's a direct violation of federal law and HIPAA guidelines. Your health data is between you and your Dr, or an organization that is regulated by HIPAA standards.
Some rogue antifa groups (cough) should make some banners that say “Auschwitz” and go hang them up outside these employers....
Then print up a flyer showing all the different symbols the nazis used and hand that out.
