I make money playing with cars in my shop by myself.
I do not make money in someone elses shop doing thier jobs like im doing now. Every job i do,i count how much money im loosing everyday. Im doing jobs that id get 800 to 1000 dollars for 100 bux .
I set myself up to go do a couple big jobs a week so i can go play with my cars.i do not work everyday,i dont have too. But thanx to the democrats and china,i gotta work every fuckin day for peanuts till people start being normal and spending money on thier vehicles and toys again.
Where im working treats me well and they do pay me well,but its not close to what i was making a year ago.
My business model is the same. I am blessed that we have enough with another income stream to make it through this for now. Though we estimated we would be debt free is just one year with the clients that signed up for my team building services.
Covid hit and every single one canceled. At this point the ones who agree Covid is a scam still don't have extra money to expand or for employee growth. The few big companies that had multi day deals set up still think Covid is too much of a risk & will be open to it once they know their employees are safe doing a contact sport with team building tied to it.
16 weekends of work & every single bit of debt would have been wiped out last year. Doing birthday parties brings in some extra funds for fun with the fam now, though we keep a tight budget preparing for the other shoe to drop & pray we are just really well prepared for some lean season down the road.
I hope things change soon and the real adults take charge. Some have reached a precipice already and I am sorry for that. Hold on, friend. We'll get there soon.
If the zone is truly autonomous, as they claim, then who would stop a swarm of bulldozers driving through the zone, and leveling everything in sight? They could flatten everything, and turn the zone into a parking lot.
