We live several towns over from where a nuclear weapons plant used to be and I find it fascinating (from a medical nerd standpoint) looking at maps of where the largest clusters of rare cancers and cancers in general are located in relation to that site.

Autism is closely correlated with mercury contamination.
You can look at a map and see rates of autism align closely with industrial waste in the area.
Vaccines also contain thimerosal, a form of mercury.
