it pisses me off that people are going to lose their jobs because the bigwigs at the top, who wont be hurt by this at all, are stooopid. I used to get a coke whenever I went out to eat. Now I make a face whenever the waiter/tress says the word coke and have heard a few say"yeah I know".
The only time I have a fizzy drink these days is a Dr Pepper when I eat fish and chips. That stuff is like engine degreaser and cuts through the oil from the frying like a knofe through butter :)

I remember the Waxo,TX Dr Pepper. I could get it shipped to me in CA until 10,years ago or so. It was made with real cane sugar and with the original formula, apparently. They got shut down because they were only supposed to ship within 50 miles of Waco, or some such. It was really good.
Never knew that, I wonder how much different it was from the stuff we can actually get.
You could tell. It was more flavorful. After drinking the Waco Dr.P and having to go back to the corn syrup crap I really thought it literally tasted like dirt. I still drank it for years. I try to avoid all soda now.
Shame we can't go back in time and try the original coca cola ;)

I used to drink 1 coke pretty much daily for a few years. Yes I know its a terrible habit. As soon as they went woke I broke that habit with a quickness. In all reality they did me a favor because I wasn't going to stop drinking it. Thank you coca cola for your wokeness.

Why is not the directors, CEOs and useless "woke" so called middle management?
Because they are the people that actually make the Coke. Fewer people buying Coke, means excess Coke makers aren't necessary anymore. You have to keep the top dogs so they can continue to lobby the government and strategize ways to make money without actually selling Coke.
I do agree...Just most of those type of jobs in Michigan right now are BEGGING people to come work. There's plenty of Pepsi plants to apply at lol..

I remember a high school biology teacher dropping a nail in a bottle of coke and watch it dissolve over the course of a few days. That opened my eyes and I haven't drunk the stuff since then. Now, I don't consume any of the many products whose brands they own. I drink flavored seltzer water now. No sugar, no calories. It doesn't rot your teeth or gums or make your stomach feel like you drank battery acid 10 min. later. Eff Coke.
