Seven years ago the school system my kids were in sent my elementary school child home with a note saying that they were going to teach her about sex.
I sent a note back saying "Nope, that's my job. Teach her how to read, write, do math and critical thinking skills instead."
They sent a note back saying "We're gonna teach her about sex anyways."
My wife and I marched down there the next day and said "We're pulling all three of our kids out of school."
They were mad as hell. They sent the principle and assistant principle out to talk me out of it and I told them they could stuff it up their assholes, give me their records and go sit and spin.
We've been homeschooling ever since and holy shit have I ever been happy about that. About two years ago they added "lifestyles" to their sex education, which I sure as fucking hell don't want my kids learning about from someone else.
EXACTLY!!! More and more parents need to do the same thing - along with some good teachers! I can foresee some fantastic home-school co-ops starting up soon! And I can't wait - that will be where my beautiful grand-babies will attend "school"!!! God Bless!
We're starting homeschooling for the first time this year. Can't wait to teach my kids what will benefit them in life instead of being forcefed that a unicorn with a leprechaun in his butt is an actual gender.
BWHAHAHA! That stupid "teacher" was all like "Go and tell the Administration, they don't care!" Apparently they did.
Also, one of the students was a total suck up to this cow of a woman. Didn't it used to be that if you were a suck up to a teacher you were made fun of? Now you're praised? This world is completely flipped.
I have so many family members that will enjoy & hate (ie disbelieve) that this could be a Utah teacher.
The crazy part, Lehi was one of the most conservative/liberty/construction minded areas 10-20 years ago. Granted that was before the Silicone Slopes build up & I tend to believe with all this election fraud BS, that the city still is firmly held with that mindset. Even with the new citizens (most are likely children that grew up in the area).
Parents must show up to every single one of the board/district meetings & demand that the CRT, Tyrnanny/Gov is Good, & other anti family ideology be stopped.
From the predominant religious roots here, we should remember that Government is not our friend. Also the predominant religion was explicitly told to refuse free education or they would be damned. FF>> a hundred years & here we are looking at bad governing principles (frankly coordinated satanic ideas if you do the research). My family had multiple public educators in multiple districts in Utah & they were always considered the best teachers by students & the schools themselves. They always taught children there is NO free lunch & the truths of how schools/foods are funded. They built up amazing side projects/elective programs in the schools & districts they taught at & unfortunately they still almost always sided with the direction of the unions while condemning the need for unions.
End of the day, this will hopefully be a great red pill for individuals in Utah about the evils that are in our classrooms here in Utah. Children should be encouraged to record anything that seems out of place.
I remember my science teacher telling me the moon lander wasn't aerodynamic so that it would "slow down quicker". He didn't like me much after I corrected him.
Kek. This reminds me of a teacher I had that was irate that I had pushed back against an example in the Trig math book. I told him their answer was incorrect & the other kids would learn the process wrong if he used it. I then was instructed to come do the problem on the board, which I did & graphed it correctly. He was pissed that I would question HIM. He then gave me another question which I free handed the graph & told him to do it himself. He was irate that my graph lined up almost perfectly & sent me to the principal for "disrupting the class". My next year (senior) was filled with playing games in the office with an open invite to leave any classroom if I turned in the homework for the day before I left.
The crazy thing is my brother called him out on the exact same problem the teacher didn't fix & the only time that he ever went to the office for "discipline" is when the teacher realized I was his brother for that exact lesson. He was the perfect student otherwise.

edit: To be fair, this was my father's fault. He refused to allow me to ever use a calculator & taught me to "think math" as he called it. He was irate that the advanced math (calculus) teacher demanded we buy a TI-85 for the class as a requirement. Wouldn't you know that over half the class put either Snakes or Tetris on their calculator.

A lady I know who lives in a small town in California told me a bunch of children got covid in her town. I asked why do you think that, and she said because they're not in school, there are many children that are not back in class. I think I know why they're not there.
You can tell she doesn't care much about her profession even by what she wears. She even said she's there because she has to be... well, no more.. I hope she has a really hard time finding another teaching job and has to resort to working at her local Subway, who will hire her for her love of gays.
