Bought my horse paste. Do I just eat it?
posted 4 years ago by tobeselfevident 4 years ago by tobeselfevident +24 / -0

Anybody done this yet? I didn't get the apple flavored stuff (didn't know it existed until i had already ordered it). I assume every notch implies 50 lbs since it's 5 notches for every 250 lbs. Should I have a chaser handy to wash it down? Help!

Yes each notch is 50 lbs.

I had a chaser ready. It’s not horrible but you’ll want a chaser.

I took 3 doses over the course of 10 days. That was about a month ago and I’m still alive and I’m not swatting flies with my tail.

I had Covid when I took it, so yes my health improved. Can't say with 100% certainty that it was the Ivermectin, but both my wife and I self treated with IVM + quercetin + zinc + Vit C + Vit D and we both got better and better until we were 100%.

It was fairly mild for us. Never had any issues with oxygen levels dropping below 98-99%.

Answer to your first question.... yes. It was typical cold/flu. There are a couple of differences, and I felt like it hung with me a little longer than normal.

Although I've never treated myself with Ivermectin for the cold/flu so I can't say if maybe that's why it was so mild.

I tested positive for Covid, that's why I believe it's covid.

I personally believe that Covid is a bioweapon. They modified the flu to make it hit people's respiratory system harder. But overall, it's very similar.

One interesting note, I did not ever lose my taste or smell. But my wife did for a little over a week.

Shit you took multiple doses? I hadn't considered that. Is there a schedule you know of somewhere that I can download and follow? I know various schedules for HCQ have been posted here, and I think some for Ivermectin as well but I don't remember if there's one that takes into account this horse paste delivery method (I assume the schedules that were posted by America's Frontline Doctors involved stuff specifically marketed to humans--I know it's the same basic stuff but I don't know if the extra ingredients throw the quantities off).

Keep in mind, I had Covid so I was treating it more aggressively than say someone who is treating prophylactically.

For prophylactic treatment, FLCCC recommends one dose today, and then a second dose 48 hours later, and then another dose every two weeks (for high risk individuals- whatever that means).

I had long Covid or at least suspect it was and found that ivermectin works on that too. I had had shortness of breath and when I took it, a couple hours later I could breath normal again. I was amazed by how well it worked.

Not sure but had other long covid symptoms as well like brain fog, digestion problems, and random blood pressure spikes. I have had pneumonia a few years prior to the pandemic and was similar but felt different. With the pneumonia I had the rattle in the lungs but with the long covid it was just like an air hunger like lungs work fine just can’t get enough O2 in the blood. Hard to describe. I had a ‘bad cold’ early in the pandemic in January of 2020 prior to the lockdowns so it may have been covid from that and weird symptoms would pop up for months after that intermittently.

One tube is used to treat a 1250 horse. Just adjust the portion to your weight is what I have been reading. I have been giving ivermectin to my dogs for heart worm for years, and people have been taking it in some parts of the world for decades.

It should be safe. That said there is one type of collie dog that it will kill. So long as you are not that type dog I think you're good. kek

BTW: I have four horse tubes, two plain and two apple flavored on hand. I also got a 50ml bottle of the injectible on hand. The injectible is the one I have given the dogs for years. I would take it in a pinch, but I'd have to figure out a dosage.

I just did this last weekend. (I am not a horse yet)

Just took the appropriate amount pound (on the marker) for pound (your weight). That should equate to 0.2mcg/kg, which is the recommended prophylactic dosage.

Be careful with your repeat regimen. The half-life isn’t as fast as other medications so you may need to wait 48-72 hours if you want to repeat.

I am not a doctor***

permalink save report block reply
▲ 3 ▼
– HE4RTLAND 3 points 4 years ago +3 / -0

I’m not a doctor either but from my understanding the half life is important. You need time to let your liver process this stuff or you’ll load up on too much. I my general consensus is it’s hard to overdose on ivermectin. But there is no sense being reckless about it. 48hour minimum if you take more than a dose is from what I have read as well. Wanted to throw this in as a reply to reassure people that there is truth out there for ivermectin. I’m currently on dose two at day 4. No side effects from it.

– Ppface 2 points 4 years ago +2 / -0

Same; the fact that you can treat b/t .2mg/kg and .6mg/kg, coupled with the fact that your body can absorb 1/2x-2x, depending on if you take w/ or w/o food means it's pretty forgiving.

Put it in some juice and mix it up. I think the taste is bad on the original paste.

permalink save report block reply
▲ 3 ▼
– Aditon 3 points 4 years ago +3 / -0

According to another article, it is soluble in fat, so people advise either taking it with a greasy meal, or just taking it with some oil of some sort.

The reason this is important is that you can absorb way more, effectively increasing the efficiency of the dose. This can be important if you are fighting COVID, or perhaps have a bad case of parasitic worms.

I'm not an expert, I read this online.

▲ 3 ▼

There's a TikTok with a woman saying she has a box of what is NOT the ivermectin paste. It's Pyrantel and she misread the caution on the back. It says something to the effect of: DO NOT USE ON HORSES FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION.

She misunderstood and thought the horse product was NOT for horses, but instead INTENDED for humans. I was shocked. I had to post back to her that it meant....DO NOT EAT MEAT FROM HORSES TREATED WITH PYRANTEL.

I don't know about the Ivermectin pastes, but they make it for humans in pill form that you can get without risking what other ingredients are in that paste since it's only like 1.85% ivermectin. The rest is "proprietary" and the MSDS says it is not to be eaten by humans and call poison control if consumed. Eat at your own risk I suppose. Not a naysayer, but I'd pay a bit more for human-grade.

permalink save report block reply
▲ 4 ▼
– tobeselfevident [S] 4 points 4 years ago +4 / -0

Well, just took it. I'll let everyone know if I start feeling sick enough to call poison control. Pretty sure I saw someone on here post the ingredients and they were all food grade FDA approved for human use.

As for the pyrantel, I took that about a week ago. They sell it for human use at Walmart. But my understanding is that Ivermectin is much more wide-functioning--kills more kinds of parasites.

Anyway, I'll report back later tonight if I start feeling sick or something.

Do you have an illness or experimenting? Good luck.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 7 ▼
– tobeselfevident [S] 7 points 4 years ago +7 / -0

Just experimenting. My theory: most of us probably have worms in us all the time, as we're not put on a deworming schedule like other mammals. These our immunes systems are likely fighting continually, taxing them just like you would a muscle that's overworked. When other contagions enter our bodies, sometimes our immune systems get overwhelmed with the extra load and we get sick. It's also possible, from other things that I've read, that the worms themselves excrete toxins and do other things to our bodies that by themselves make us sick.

I definitely find it curious how little parasites are brought up as a possible contributor to human illness. Perhaps that's by design (I suspect with what we know about the Deep State that it is), or perhaps it's because doctors aren't super keen on taking stool samples, but for whatever reason, it always seems to be the very last thing that doctors consider. My girlfriend is in the medical field and she says it's almost NEVER considered.

And if it's true that we are the only mammal that can't produce its own vitamin C and are, by virtue of this, more susceptible to disease than other mammals due to weaker immune systems naturally, it's very odd to me that we would veer so much from the type of treatment that we consider basic and essential for them.

Yes I read one theory is that parasites cause some cancers and some say ivermectin cures cancer. But it is really just killing the parasites and the patients own system is curing the cancer. Something like that

You can get human grade from the doctors at America's Frontline Doctors. Check out their website. Set up a consultation (telemed) for $90 out of pocket, then whatever the meds by mail cost. Do it in advance of getting sick and you'll have a supply on hand in the event someone needs meds rather quickly.

Mix it with pudding and you shouldn’t notice a terrible taste.

Also, every manufacturer will have a disclaimer stating; “Not for human consumption” because people in general tend to be stupid and do not read labels. They ingest the entire tube in one sitting and probably do massive damage and or potentially die and the manufactures want to legally protect themselves from lawsuits.

My sister's been using it without problems, and I started today. We both put it as far back on the tongue as possible because avoiding taste buds makes it somewhat easier to tolerate. No problems for me so far, but then I don't expect there to be, as I've been giving it to my horses for years and they all survived. Don't take it on an empty stomach. A few swallows of milk or a few spoons of yogurt or cottage cheese will do.

I put the dose under my tongue for best absorption. Both my husband and me have been taking horse paste for about a year now, every 2 to 4 weeks. He has CIRS. We never stopped seeing our 11 grandkids or our kids, unless they were actually sick. We took a driving trip for 3 weeks to parks on our bucket list and we're around alot of happy people. We have had not one cold, not even a sniffle. We have always taken Vit D, and other vitamins to support our older selves. The biggest travesty and really what I call murder, is the fact medical care was not given to people early.

This site has the correct dosing information: https://covid19criticalcare.com/covid-19-protocols/i-mask-plus-protocol/ It ranges from 0.2mg/kg of body weight for chronic prevention to 0.4mg/kg of body weight for post-exposure prevention, to 0.4 to 0.6 mg/kg for early treatment. Page 2 of the handout has a dosage chart by body weight for the 0.2mg/kg dose. For Durvet 1.87% ivermectin, a 6.08g tube contains 6.08*1.87/100 = 113mg of ivermectin. There are 25 notches on the applicator so each notch =113mg/25 = 4.5mg/notch. For the 0.2mg/kg dose, this works out to about one notch per 50 lbs of body weight, which is the dosage marked for horses on the applicator. Multiply by 2 or 3 to get to the post-exposure or early treatment doses.

This is the whole reason people started using horse paste in the first place. Docs and pharmacies got leaned on by the higher-ups in thrall to Big Pharma to not prescribe HCQ or ivermectin, both easy, safe, effective treatments. So people, being denied access to a life-saving treatment by their own government and health institutions, found a way to get ivermectin a different way. It's not like everybody wouldn't rather get human pills; it's just that it's almost impossible. [Telemed services may but take a long time and the meds can be very expensive.]
